May 2025: I am updating this review for the THIRD time because I have been legitimately blown away this year by how much this course has improved. I heard they have new ownership, or a new super or something like that. I don't know if it's true, but either way, the course is in FANTASTIC shape, at least early in the season here in 2025. If you're like me and you USED to love this course but stopped going when it started going downhilll in 2022/2023, I highly recommend you give it another chance here in 2025, as they have turned it around phenomenally! Trust me... I was brutally honest when it was bad (see below), and I'm still honest now that it's good. The fairways are lush, the greens are in excellent shape, tee boxes are solid.... Not much more you can ask for! Thank you to whoever came in and overhauled this awesome track! I'm so glad to have another awesome public course in the Springs that's worth playing! 2023 review: Updating this review following my round on 4/29/2023. I was hoping that avoiding this course for a year or so would give them time to get it back in shape, but this hasn't been the case. I honestly can't believe they are still in business with how poorly managed the course is. PLEASE see the attached photos of one of the fairways we played on. This is pretty much what the entire course looks like. No grass anywhere, potholes, sinkholes, massive piles of dirt and debris, it's honestly insulting. We paid about $65/person, and in hindsight, anything more than $20 was a ripoff. It's such a shame because it's such a good course in terms of layout, but the course is so mismanaged that it'll probably be replaced with a neighborhood in a year or two. This is the last time I'll ever play this course. Farewell! Original review from 2022: Unfortunately I need to echo a lot of the previous reviews. This used to be an incredible course, but now it is absolutely one of the lowest quality golf courses I've played in my entire life, and that's not an exaggeration. I gave it a couple chances this season, hoping the conditions would improve, but they haven't, yet they are still charging nearly double what you'd pay at other PRISTINE local courses like Patty Jewett or King's Deer. The horrendous quality and the sky-high prices are probably why it's the only course in the city that you can get a tee time pretty much whenever you want - because nobody is booking times here anymore. Honestly, I'd be surprised if this is even still here in a few years. For what it's worth, I have had good experiences with the staff here, and the course itself is great in terms of layout and views, I just wish they would take care of it, or stop charging out the wazoo. It's a damn shame.

I'm going to give an honest review of this public golf course. So the greens are in decent shape that's about all that's in decent shape, although the tee boxes are okay. The grass height in this place is just willy-nilly with how they cut the grass. The grass in the Fairway I'd say is at least an inch longer than it should be, the second cut is at least three inches longer than it should be, which makes it easy to lose your balls from just right off the fairway, which for a course that charges in excess of $80 per round kind of crazy. There's basically mounds of grass from cutting everywhere on this course..all over the fairway, on the fringe of the green, everywhere making it close to impossible to play your ball where it lies. The sand traps are more like small rock traps...I would stay away from this place unless you get a great deal or just can't play anywhere else. I won't be returning.

Love the course, never had a problem. Start early and there is minimal delays. Also - loved the cart girl from Louisiana. She was awesome.

prior to playing, I read all of the reviews so my expectations were mixed. the course was in excellent shape, greens were immaculate. on the downside, the traps were sloppy and the rough was tough to play out of, thus had to make adjustments to your club selection at times. overall the staff was friendly and pace of play was good. will definitely come back!

Nice golf club overall but please take care of the restrooms near hole 5 and hole 6… I’ve been to cheaper golf clubs and never experienced such poorly kept facilities for players. Pine Creek is located in the more “affluent” neighborhood in Colorado Springs and I expected better, honestly.
