Course is beautiful and decently kept. My low review has to do with the staff in pro shop as well as pace of play. I am a veteran with a disability rating, but was charged full price for my tee time. When trying to show my disability rating they refused, BUT had no problem accepting that information from another player in my group who checked in a bit later. I hope it wasn't prejudice but I did feel I was singled out for one reason or another. As for pace of play. It took us near 5 hours for 18 holes. Even with the ranger driving through, and "enforcing" time. We were stuck behind 2 groups through all 18 holes. I would like to play this track again, and update my review rating but I am hesitant because of these forementioned reasons.

Great course for DoD ID card holders, entrance onto USAFA grounds required. Challenging course, even from the white tees (6k yards). Course was in great shape, nice and green. Good putting green and driving range. Lots of wild life on course. Got a birdie and bogey on the same hole.

Had the opportunity to play here last weekend and to be honest I was pretty disappointed. The carts were old and had no GPS, the cart paths were tore up and the tee boxes were in need of a trim. The greens were in OK shape but they had recently been punched so it was like putting on a Plinko board. It would have been nice to have the clubhouse staff let us know that. The course was just OK, which I was expecting more being that it was the USAF Academy after all. Nice experience to say I got to play the course but disappointed in the conditions.

We were staying two nights at the fam-camp and decided to go golfing. We did the blue course as the silver course was under weekly maintenance. The pro-shop to check in is actually downstairs. The staff was friendly and the guys did a great job explaining to my youngest about his rental clubs. The greens are well kept and over all the 18 holes was fun to play. The cart girl caught us when we tee'd off and around the 12th hole, for drinks and snacks. Plan accordingly if you have an afternoon tee time with the cart girl as the club house closes the food and drinks around 5. I would come back to try the silver course.

Beautiful course but we were rained out after completing 3 holes of a round of 18.They only refunded 9 holes back, “per their policy” so we lost money. Wouldnt suggest coming here if theres a chance of bad weather.
