The course was in decent shape but pace of play was slow. Greens were slow and bumpy. It's over priced for sure. You can play any of the regulation sized city courses for pretty much the same price and the same or better conditions. We got a half priced deal with cart on Golf Now for 23 bucks. I wouldn't return at the full price. There are some nice views and the mountains give the feel of being out in nature.

I have played here several times, but after today's experience, I don't think I will ever return. While the course layout is generally great, the tee boxes are consistently scuffed and poorly maintained. We arrived as a group of six to celebrate a friend moving away. On the first hole, we were told by the front desk that we had to split into two groups of three. That was fair and understandable, so we complied. The front nine went smoothly without any issues. However, things changed on the back nine. The range marshal immediately approached us and caused a scene, yelling at us for setting up on the tee box while the group ahead (our friends) was still there. We were maintaining a good pace and had been respectful the entire time, there was no need for the aggression. Later, he returned to yell that we weren't following "the rules", which we were, and proceeded to call me "papas." I was later told this translates to "daddy." While I understand it’s a term people use, it made me personally uncomfortable to be addressed that way by a stranger/employee. On the next hole, he scolded us for hitting while people were "on the course," even though our friends were safely on the cart path near the green, well out of our range. The marshal then followed us for the rest of the round, making us feel watched and uneasy. What was most frustrating was the double standard. While he was harassing us, the group behind us was hitting into us, and another player almost hit someone without shouting "fore." The marshal witnessed this but said nothing, keeping his focus entirely on us. We just wanted to enjoy a farewell game for our friend, but this behavior ruined the experience. If it wasn't for this field marshal, I definitely would have given it a higher rating. If anyone tries playing this course on a Sunday sometimes after 12, I would watch out for him, I didn't get his name unfortunately. Thank you

Worse course in the valley. Staff are a bunch or wanna be golf pros. The Marshall needs to go back to school cause he clearly doesn’t know golf etiquette or the rules for that matter. We had a 6 man group which we split into 2 teams of 3 playing scratch golf. We kept the pace of play and followed all their rules. Not even after the first tee box the Marshall came and harassed my group saying that we needed to keep the pace of play when we had just teed off, we were on the fairway waiting for the group ahead of us to walk off the green before he hit our balls. The whole time we played out round the marshal was harassing our group making up rules along the way. I have been to this course 2 times prior to this visit and this will definitely be my last at each other time before this visit the staff was still rude. $40 for the course and $16.50 for the cart fee per person is crazy work given the greens, tee box, sand pits, and fairways are all shit nothing but hard sand, divot filled tee boxes and dead greens. Management really needs new staff cause I don’t see this course staying afloat much longer. Worst course for beginner golfers as well as you will have balls hit into your group and be rushed by the staff. Just stay away from this course even if it’s a last minute tee time. Last time I make this mistake.

Course in good shape for an executive Course. Service is horrendous. Doc, the starter is one of the most disrespectful individuals I have ever met in my life. Every "response" comment is a jab at everyone he comes in contact with. I have always tried to respect my elders however, Doc and Ann make it tough. I called to confirm if carts were available as the site would not allow me to do book as a "rider" and Ann would not put me in for a time. She told to me to follow directions on the site in a very rude manner. I understand how it works however, thought I would call to see if the human element was relevant... Not the case. I know there was a recent transaction that took place and hope these folks are reviewed as who will be representing El Casiso in the Pro Shop.

I’ve played this course several times, but after my most recent visit, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. The layout is good, but the tee boxes are always pretty worn, and the experience this time was disappointing. Our group was out celebrating a friend, and everything was fine on the front nine. But once we got to the back nine, the marshal repeatedly singled us out, raising his voice and criticizing us even though we were following the rules and keeping pace. It made the entire round uncomfortable and honestly took all the fun out of the day. What made it even worse was the lack of consistency—the marshal ignored other groups who were actually causing issues, yet kept focusing on us for no reason. When we brought this up to the manager afterward, nothing was really done to address the situation or make up for it. It’s a shame, because this could’ve been a great day, but the way everything was handled left a really bad impression.
