Loved this course. I arrived early and they were kind enough to let me start ahead of schedule. Everyone I interacted with, both staff and fellow players, was friendly, and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. The views on the back nine are absolutely stunning- some of the best I’ve seen. I’ll definitely be back!

Really nice and affordable short 18-hole course. Some of the tee boxes and fairways could use a little love, but the greens are in great shape and roll true. The front nine goes through a small town with lots of trees and even some deer hanging around. The back nine has awesome views of the Pacific Ocean. We played in the early afternoon and by the last few holes the sun was starting to set, which made the views even better.

I slipped away on a family vacation to play here and it was an amazing day on the course! The course was in good shape, especially the greens. The Pro Shop was well stocked with lots of stuff with cool logos on them. Pace was just fine, but I was there on a Monday morning. It was interesting to start off with back-to-back par 3s, and we meandered through Pacific Grove neighborhoods on the front 9. The back nine is their calling card. It’s an absolute gem. I was in heaven. Beautiful views and just such a pleasant few hours I spent here. I have to make it back.

Played Pacific Grove Golf Links midweek and had an awesome experience. I paid $89 for a 12:00 pm tee time with a cart (it would’ve been $69 at 1:00 pm, but I wanted to finish with daylight). My wife came along as a spectator for $24, and my son played using Youth on Course for only $5, which is an incredible value. The course is beautiful from start to finish. Hole 16 by the lighthouse is picture-perfect. One tip: all the range balls are neon yellow, and the driving range runs along the right side of that fairway—so if you play a neon yellow ball, it’s easy to lose track of it among the range balls. Go with white or another bright color. There’s also a dune on the right-middle side of the fairway that slopes down, making it hard to see where your ball lands. Most people rave about the back 9 (and it is amazing), but don’t overlook the front 9—it’s fun, well-kept, and the fairways and greens were in great condition. Another fun part of the experience: tons of deer everywhere, and they’re not bothered by golfers at all. I hit a chip shot within 10 feet of one and it didn’t even flinch, even as I walked closer. Only minor downside: a lot of unrepaired divots on the greens, which is typical for a busy muni. I just repair a few extra while I’m there. Overall, fantastic experience. I will definitely be back. ⛳️

Lives up to being one of the best values in the area. Course layout is great with many scenic holes, especially on the back 9. Looking forward to playing again soon
