A really laid back and fun course. It’s quite challenging with lots of hills and valleys. Some holes have almost not fairway and the longer holes have hazards forcing you to play short. The carts, fairways, and greens are all in great shape. The overall vibe is very laid back and working class. The clubhouse was nice and very friendly. The only issue I had was someone didn’t clean up after their dog on one of the fringes of the green. This feels like a pillar of the community. Somewhere for people to get outside and have some fun together.

One star less just because it only had one par 5 and the rest were mostly 3’s. Up, down, ravine, short, narrow, all of the above short game necessary and good greens. Undulation on a major scale. Also very narrow. A few holes were really on top of each other. Not sure about the ocean views but the weather was fantastic.

My husband drove from Palm Springs to play there today. He booked a tee time online and he was going to pay when he got there which was supposed to be $33 for a senior rate. When he got there they said "oh sorry it's not $33.00 today because its a holiday (the day before Thanksgiving) and the rate today is $50.00. Absolutely ridiculous! You should honor what the price said when he booked his tee time. He says he will never return.

When I picked up golf during covid, I started going to this course almost 3x a week. It is a short course, and has drastically improved in its offerings and layout over the last few years. Don't think because it's short, it's easy. This place makes you be accurate, decide tough decisions on how you approach each hole. I dedicate this course to make me improve and really focus on honing in my skills vs just hitting a ball as hard as I can (to the right mostly). Go and enjoy.

Great course design and conditions but got hassled by intense groups and course marshall while finishing a Saturday round in 3 hours and 8 minutes. (Record time) Based on this experience I would not recommend any beginner/intermediate players play here or else the intense locals will give you a hard time.
