Really affordable venue with beautiful backdrop for our late spring high school banquet! The service was on point, the ceilings were plenty high, and the food was pretty yummy all things considered. Still, the thing that set this apart was the beautiful setting. The backdrop, a view of the hills; the pretty roses in the yard; the gazebo, and veranda area; all made for a magical experience for us. I can confidently say I would vote for coming back here again soon for another banquet experience!

I played this course while visiting my son in LA. The course is nestled inside a very nice community in the canyons. Prior to playing we had lunch in their clubhouse - it was fantastic! Their restaurant was a bit small but very nice with good service. The pro shop was also very nice. There looked to be some outside seating but it wasn't a good day for that. The range facilities were very good - nice size - hitting on grass. There was a chipping green and a separate putting green. They had a starter that announced times and player names over a loud speaker so it was easy to know when our group was going to get called to the first tee. He was a very nice guy who welcomed us and answered our questions. Unfortunately the day we played was very cold and very windy (for LA) - 56 degrees and no sun - 51 wind chill. This made the playing experience difficult and cold as many of the holes are exposed and sit high up on top of the canyons. Some of the holes are a bit tight and a few are a little quirky and require a little bit of course knowledge which we didn't have. The condition of the course was pretty good given this was early spring. If you're in the area it's worth the play. I'd like to play it again on a typical sunny (low wind) CA day!

What a great place. Well maintained course. Interesting holes throughout with some force carries and blind shots so course management is a must and please play the proper tee boxes here. Great views. Friendly staff. Sometimes the range is mat only and there’s no shade. There’s no field marshal and the course can be tough for those who haven’t played it before so I could see slow play being an issue. They have a Monday-Thursday rate for non-members at $90 and it’s a great deal that even comes with a lunch-burger, dogs that sort of thing. Excellent value overall.

Her incredible attention to detail, clear communication, and perfect timeline execution made the entire evening flow beautifully and seamlessly. She is organized, professional, and an absolute pleasure, sweetheart to work with. Carlos deserves the best praise as well. From the moment I arrived, he was everywhere, helping with every detail, answering all my questions, and making sure everything was set up exactly the way it needed to be. He went above and beyond for every request and handled all his responsibilities with exceptional dedication. Magda and Greg were absolute sweethearts, beyond amazing!. Kind, helpful, and so attentive, they brought such warmth and support throughout the event. Their professionalism and positive energy truly made a difference. The ladies at the bar were wonderful, professional, friendly, efficient, and incredibly welcoming. They took care of the guests with so much grace. And of course, a heartfelt thank you to the kitchen team and the entire crew behind the scenes. The food was excellent, the service was smooth, and every detail was handled with care. Their teamwork and professionalism helped create a flawless celebration. Moorpark Country Club is genuinely one of the few venues where everything ran beyond smooth. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing, their staff handled it all with such kindness, precision, and professionalism. This was truly one of the best venue experiences I’ve ever had, and I look forward to working here again.
