Description

The Golf Club at Moffett Field, located in Mountain View, California, is an 18-hole regulation golf course situated within the historic Moffett Federal Airfield. Designed by Bob E. Baldock, the course opened in 1959 as a 9-hole layout named the "Hill Course" in honor of Captain Arthur S. Hill, the commanding officer at the time. It expanded to 18 holes ten years later.

The hitting "mat" is a thin layer of artificial turf on concrete. Wrists hurt after a bucket of balls, and impossible to get the same descending blow through the ball with irons. Oh, a large bucket of 100 balls costs $16.
