Excellent value course for the casual golfer. Nice variety of holes nestled in the San Diego River valley east county. Can get hot during the summer and perfect during the cooler months.

Honestly price and quality of the course are not bad, but having the deal with a grumpy starter named Jim yelling at you to hurry up, and saying “you don’t need practice swings” - WHEN THERE ARE WALKING GROUPS ON THE FAIRWAY IN FRONT OF YOU, on a slow overcast sprinkling day is ridiculous. After trying to call the pro shop to see what this guys deal was they said “he has to right to say what he wants” and “nothing to do about it”. I live near this course and have started golfing recently and was excited to become a regular here but this was a real bummer.

The course itself is well-maintained, with the greens in excellent condition. However, the customer service experience was disappointing, largely due to the behavior of the starter, Jim. After we completed the front 9, we were told by Jim that we could not proceed to play the back 9 because the course was 'booked up.' This was incredibly frustrating, as the first hole was wide open with no one ahead of us. Jim was not only unhelpful but also rude, arguing with us instead of offering any solutions or attempting to accommodate us. His unprofessional behavior and complete lack of basic customer service skills were shocking. It seems that the staff on the golf side is made up of older gentlemen who may not have experience in customer service roles, leading to poor interactions with guests, difficulty booking tee times, and confusion with transactions. While the maintenance crew does an excellent job keeping the course in great shape, the overall management and customer service culture could benefit from significant improvements. If the ownership of this course were to hire more competent, customer-focused staff, it would likely lead to a better experience for guests and increased revenue for the course.

Really great course! Amazing greens, fun course, well maintained facilities, and freely staff. Bob was a great help and a real good man. He made the first time experience seemless. Easy and good guy to talk to. Will be back!

Fun and forgiving, this course is emaculate. The groundskeepers really baby this hidden gem. Starter Bob is efficient and friendly. Played the men's Tees in about 3 1/2 hours. Highly recommend this course!
