We have been coming here for 5 years and not once have we ever had a poor experience. To the contrary, the course is fabulous, beautifully maintained, the staff make you feel like family and I mean it! Everyone is just fabulous. Feel so blessed SilverRock and the people there are part of our lives.

SilverRock golf offers a unique combination of mountain terrain, challenging golf, and country club quality at a reasonable price. The first thing that stood out to me as the massive land footprint this place sits in. There is a lot of partially developed housing and facilities alongside the course that are actively in progress. Someday it will be quite fancy, I’m sure. The practice area offers a big wide open driving range on fresh cut grass with big buckets of balls to pull from. Once you get in the first tee, you will notice that the course has four different tee boxes, and the tips are a whopping ~7300 yards. From back there, you will definitely feel like you’re playing a whole different course because the bunkers are so large that you’ll need to really strategize to stay out of trouble. In terms of hazards, you have really large, hilly bunkers everywhere. They are well maintained, but you will need to play the number and the line to stay out of trouble. Next, about 2/3 of the holes are right up alongside the mountain with spectacular desert landscape views and tons of lakeside greens and fairways. While the course is mostly flat, the greens and fairways are fairly hilly and undulated, so you will need to play a solid game to get around there unscathed. Overall, the gorgeous Mountain Views, the water features, and the scenic palm trees really elevates the experience. Even though it is partially undeveloped, that does not take away from the experience. Serious golfers will really get their money’s worth out here if you’re looking to challenge yourself on distance, shot shapes, and strategy. Have fun out there!

Course is in great shape. They need a new club house but it looks like it is in the works. Beautiful course set next to the hills. Tough course, lots of sand traps in front of the greens and water…Arnold Palmer course. Fast greens but super fun

My golf buddies and I played SilverRock for the first time earlier this week. We were excited to play the course, but excitement quickly turned to disappointment and frustration. At the end of the second hole, the ranger told us we were one hole behind and asked us to pick up our pace of play. We found this amazing considering that the starter, who was friendly and helpful, told us to wait to tee off until the group in front of us was on the green, and the group behind us was nowhere to be seen. Again, this reprimand came after two holes. Considering the situation, we believe the admonishment was unnecessary and unwarranted. Unfortunately, this set the tone for the rest of the day, and turned what was suppose to be a enjoyable day on a beautiful and challenging course into a race against time. What was also annoying was the constant reminders on the GPS screen about place of play tips. Is that what is most important to the management, get them in and get them out? If the course is a resort course, shouldn't all players of all skill levels be able to enjoy it, not just the young long ball hitters. At the end of the day, we finished our round in less than four hours. An amazing feat, as the course is beautiful and challenging, but it was too bad that we couldn't fully enjoy it like we had hoped.

Extremely disappointing experience. We were treated unfairly and singled out for “slow play” even though we were waiting on every tee box for a local group playing as a five-some in front of us. It felt discriminatory and completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, the person who approached us (Randy Duncan, Director of Golf) did so wearing a tee shirt, board shorts, and flip flops. That alone set the tone for how little professionalism exists here. Being called out while the actual pace issue was clearly ahead of us was frustrating and embarrassing. The course operations were also a mess. Mowers and sprinklers were constantly in the way, disrupting play and showing a lack of respect for paying golfers. For the price they charge, the experience should be seamless and polished – not chaotic and dismissive. And let’s talk about value: this course is wildly overpriced for what it offers. The clubhouse is a double-wide trailer not a proper golf facility, which makes the premium pricing even harder to justify. Save your money and your time. Skip SilverRock and go play Trilogy or Eagle Falls instead. Both offer far better service, professionalism, and overall golf experience. SilverRock is absolutely not worth the treatment or the price.
