Bad Customer Service. No one at front desk reception for over 15 minutes when I came in early 4 hours before 4pm check-in to reschedule my stay. Gave me the run initially around via text and email that they couldn't reschedule or credit my account because I used booking.com, but booking.com said to email them to ask for exception to their policy to not reschedule or give credit, and then they responded in booking.com saying request denied. This is despite mass vacancies for the dates I wished to reschedule (just one week later). I lost one day's worth of money, they lost approximately 3 weeks of my future potential stays as I was here for work.

Showed up for out 1:58 tee time that we booked over the phone and the guy over the phone told us it was 55 per person. We get here and go to pay and the kid who was really not good at his job charged us 65 and basically told us oh well instead of calling for his boss. Really kind of bullshit

No greens! Horrible condition and the staff could care less if you come back. Absolutely not worth the money being charged today.

We stayed one night at Indian Palms Country Club and overall had a neutral-to-positive experience. It provided exactly what I needed for a quick overnight stay. The room itself was a bit outdated, but you can tell it was once very nice. It had all the basics: a comfortable enough bed, microwave, mini fridge, TV, iron and ironing board, a small counter with two chairs, a ceiling fan, and an A/C unit. The room wasn’t perfectly clean (it probably could have used a quick sweep), but it also wasn’t gross or concerning. One small issue we noticed was that the bathroom fan, when turned on, intermittently made a loud noise while running. The staff were especially friendly and helpful. The security staff at the front gate was the first person we interacted with, and he was very nice and patient as we were initially confused about where to go on the property. When we got to our room, the door to the first room we were assigned wouldn’t work and the lights didn’t come on when inserting the keycard. We called the front desk and the staff member came out right away, helped troubleshoot, and then moved us into another room without any hassle. He was friendly and patient the whole time. We did try the hot tub, although if it hadn’t been dark we probably would have skipped it. The water was only warm and the jets weren’t working, and the pool area looked like it may not get used very often. There is also a restaurant/bar in the same building as the front desk, but we arrived around 6:30 PM and it closes early so we didn’t get a chance to try it. The property itself is very large and gated, which makes it feel safe but also a little tricky to navigate. I would recommend arriving during daylight if possible. The location is great if you need to be near Indio, the courthouse, or Coachella, and it was very quiet during our stay. For the price, it felt worth it. We just needed a safe, decent place to stay for the night and that’s exactly what it provided. I read reviews ahead of time which helped set realistic expectations. A couple improvements that would make the stay even better: the hot tub working properly, pool towels available near the pool area, and maybe a simple guide or map in the room showing where amenities are located. It would also be helpful if that guide included instructions or tips for ordering food to the property, since the grounds are large and somewhat confusing to navigate—we felt unsure about trying to have food delivered because we weren’t confident a driver would easily find the room. I also wasn’t sure if there was a fitness center and didn’t have time to ask. It would also have been nice if there had been a simple broom available in the room or nearby, since the floor just needed a quick sweep, but it wasn’t a big enough issue for me to call staff back over. Overall I would still give it 5 stars because it delivered what we needed for a simple overnight stay.

This was the worst hotel that I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many over the years. Do not be fooled by the fact that it's in a golf club. It's a dump. Only one of the beds had a blanket, and it was torn. The ceiling was as thin as cardboard and I was awakened at 5:00 a.m. when the people in the upper story woke up and started walking around. The whole thing was dated and grimy, and the linens were terrible. Just the worst experience. Thank God I was staying alone and hadn't brought the family.
