Absolutely beautiful course! Fairways are generously wide with undulations and well kept grass. Greens were the challenge and in great condition as well. Very quick and roll very true.

On 11/30/22, I enjoyed my first round a Copper Valley (CV) with a buddy. The course was in good condition with many positive and only a few negatives. The course is located in beautiful rolling hills and with the fall colors in play the day was a visual delight. The positives included several clean restrooms peppered around the course, well maintained fairways and greens (which were fast), and tee boxes were in good shape for the most part. Also, the cart navigation was cool and included radio with Country music. Being in the foothills, it is interesting to manage shots with the left/right slopes in the fairways. I hit several shots to the left, hoping they would hit the hill and then roll down into the fairway, which they did. If you enjoy that kind of frustration, this course is for you. :) The negatives were several sand traps that needed maintenance. I wondered why most were in great shape but some were neglected. Maybe some follow-up my management on the grounds crew? In the winter, the course uses a shotgun start process after 10am to avoid frost delays. The downside was that we got a little backed up at times. Also, after we rounded the 18th and went to the 1st tee, the GPS said we had exceeded our round, but I think it is a setting in the GPS they can turn off to accommodate shotgun starts (not everyone starts at 1 and finishes on 18). Overall a great experience. I am looking forward to returning.

Very nice course. Very nice layout. Well maintained. Pace of play was very slow for this first six holes, until the Marshall came out to help.

Planned a trip with friends and were not informed about the shotgun start. Every hole was backed up with two groups, and despite starting at 10:30 AM, we did not finish until after 4 PM. The group ahead of us was playing extremely slow and inaccurately reported to the marshal that we were pressuring them all round, which was not the case. For a $100 greens fee, the experience fell short—especially with the driving range closed regardless of weather. Pace of play should be monitored more effectively. If players are unable to advance the ball a reasonable distance or are spending excessive time reading every putt, they should consider a shorter course or different tees to keep the round enjoyable for everyone. This was meant to be a birthday outing for my brother-in-law, and he said he would never return after this experience. Based on this, I will not be returning to this course again either.
