These courses are nice. They’re challenging and interesting. Lots of elevation changes. Quickish greens. They have 10 minute tee times which is nice. Pricing is a great value. I have to take off stars for the course’s absurd policy of letting people out on the back 9 in the middle of the morning. If you have the 530am tee time you should be able to play at your speed. That’s the whole point of teeing that early. Apparently the course will just let people out on the back 9 when they feel like it and everybody who is finishing their round can just wait. What’s the reason for this policy? Feels like a money grab and a middle finger to the players. I’ve only ever heard of one other course doing this and everybody hates that course too. Won’t be back again.

Played here twice now, once on each course, and had a good time both rounds. The East Course is definitely the more interesting of the two with a lot more elevation change and more forced targets. I’d say it’s more difficult for the same reasons, but a lot of holes still leave you with options if you hang one way out to one side or the other. Great location if you’re looking for kind of a midpoint between the SF and Sacramento areas Conditions aren’t necessarily killer all over but the greens were pretty well kept and rolled well. Was cart path only both times but it had rained pretty recently before each as well. I’d say the West is pretty walkable but I would not want to walk the East side. I didn’t hit the cafe on our most recent round because you don’t go back by it at all on the East Course but on the first visit the I got a dog with fries at the turn and the woman in there made me an absolutely perfect order of fries. I have thought of them randomly 2 or 3 times since then. Felt worth mentioning

Man, how come I only come to play at Blue Rock only until now. This is a gem hidden in Napa area, what a beautiful nice course. Hole 5 is one of the most uphill ⛳ hole, with excellent landscape, just elegant. Hole 7 is also another beautiful one, you first need to drive the ball from 7-story high, and your 2nd shot is to aim to the green that is 2-story high, so much fun !!! Also like Hole 15 and 17, purely because of the scene at sunset time here, just amazing. P.S. guess this course is too popular that they charged you another 10 bucks as the deposit of cart, as some people forged fake keys to play free here 😭

Went to bluerock thurs 6/27. Figured it shouldnt be too crowded at 5pm on a thursday. Wrong. My tee time was at 510 on the east, i get to the tee about 505 and see a 4 some on the green, 4 some in the fairway and 2 4somes on the teebox. Did the pace of play math and decided to go back to the proshop to see if i can go out on the west, they let me. By the 2nd hole i noticed a 7some ahead of me and an 8some a head of them. This course doesnt have rules, they dont care about your experience and the average age of most of their customers is 65+. The average handicap is probably 30. 6 hour rounds are expected at all times. Being that the course doesnt care about customer experiences heres what i recommend: - Dont pay for tee times here, just walk up to the tee - the staff is too lazy to notice or do anything about it, especially on the east. Just pull up and tee off for free. You can do this on the front 9 or the back. - need a cart? Just take one of the recently returned carts for free, the battery life on the new carts supports 13 hours of drive time. And no one will know the difference - cut people off on the course, nothing will happen i can promise you that - get a cart flag and pretend to be a marshall and rush people around the course. This plot of land wouldve been better as townhomes, hope that happens soon.

I attended a women's golf tournament at Blue Rock Springs Golf Club. The east course was a challenge. Uphill, downhill, & 90 degree dog legs fairways. There was bare patches or exposed dirt in most fairways but that didn't detract from the overall beauty of the course for me.
