Absolutely the best value golf course in the foothills area. It's only a 9 hole course but you can play a full 18 and there are a few alternative tee boxes that change the course a bit if you wanted more. In terms of difficulty, it is a par 30, so there are a lot of par 3, but a couple of longer holes, including a 350 yard dogleg. There are a few bunkers and watertraps but for the most part there are relatively straight fairways. There are at least 3 holes you can hit the green on the first shot. Given the course gets snow/rain in the winter and 100+ dry heat in the summer, the grass is in decent shape. The tee boxes tend to be a little sandy and torn up but nothing you can't work with. The location in the valley gets a surprising amount of light so make sure to wear a hat and be prepared if youre afternoon golfing to tee off straight into the sun. The pro shop has a decent selection of balls, gloves and tees if you need any for reasonable prices. There is a new driving net and a large putting area that's right next to the first tee, so a perfect place to practice if there is a wait to tee off. Weekends can be a little busy but most weekdays you can pretty much walk on. There is plenty of parking and very easy to find. There is also a good bar and grill with plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the first tee box. There is also a disc golf course that runs along the fairways. You do have to watch out as the disc tee boxes are on the sides almost OB, and they do cross some of the fairways. It's not that often you get disc golfers, but something to be aware of.

Had a great time this morning playing at Twain Harte Golf Club. I had heard the course had some improvements and I was very happy with the quality of the course. It looked to me like there was a still many improvements in the works (tee boxes and some greens) but the fairways were nice and I could tell the staff cared about the experience. A couple greens were a bit bumpy and tee boxes not ready yet and the pro shop was limited in its offerings. These were very small negatives which didn’t greatly impact my experience. Would happily play again!

Beautiful lush green course with large trees! Love the 18 hole disc golf course! Although it is combined with golf so it can be challenging at times trying to both play.

Played today,course is perfect, greens so good,golf course over all is a must play,it's in better shape than alot of country clubs,the only thing is the course is to wet,but it's still so so good
