Terrific course/property. Good variety of holes with amazing views. First round in a long time where I used every club in the bag…which is fun! Plenty of houses on the course, but doesn’t feel overly “resort-y.” Will definitely be back when in the area.

Incredible experience on a perfect weather day, Oct 2nd! Great rates and service, the course was in beautiful shape, the greens were firm and fast, no complaints and I would highly recommend you put this course on your bucket list.

Played this course on 08/04 during my Bday trip to Lake Tahoe, Beautiful course, very challenging, bunkers everywhere, fast greens...very quiet and relaxing, had a breakfast burrito before my tee time, Mauricio over at the bar was very nice and friendly, the whole staff was great, nice views from every hole on the course. (visited from Crandall Tx.)

The rough is way too long for the general public. As a 9 handicap I'm not exactly a hacker and I hit three quality shots during my round that finished in the rough just off the fairway that I never found even with my three partners helping. They have also closed their nice big deck overlooking the 18th hole to golfers and it's only used for weddings. These two factors (especially the inappropriately long rough) significantly compromise the value of the experience and it's not even close to being worth the $300 they charge NCGA members. We also played two days at Whitehawk and at half the price of Old Greenwood, that course being in great shape and with more attractive scenery made our experience at O.G. quite a disappointment.

Our family enjoyed the PGA Barracuda Golf Tournament this past week! My husband is on the the tournament board and my son volunteer each year as standard bearers. The chicken ceasar wrap was yummy! The Barracuda staff was very professional and friendly. And the new marketing team made it fun! The course looked phenomenal. Greens and especially fairways and rough the most lush green I have ever seen it. Everyone had a smile on their faces. The only add this year that I did not care for was the timeshare vendor. They were soon insistent that it was a TOTAL turnoff. And. most millionaires that live around Tahoe and also thr guests know that timeshares are worthless investments. Wrong place, wrong customer. Maybe at a traveling circus or wellness fair or state fair...not a PGA event. The Caddy Bar (protein bar) group was a hoot. They added some fun. All the Marshall's and volunteers were lovely, especially the teen men and women from the local high schools. Well done Barracuda and well done Old Greenwood.
