CrossCreek Golf Club in Murrieta is an absolute gem! The layout is beautiful and really well designed, with a great mix of challenging and fun holes. The greens were in excellent shape, smooth and true all day. I loved that there were plenty of par 4s, and not once did any tee box feel rushed – it was such a nice change of pace from the faster vibe of San Diego. The course sits in a peaceful, mountainous setting that truly feels like an escape to paradise. Had an awesome time out here with friends and the clubs – definitely a spot I’ll be returning to!

This course really is special for our community. It's a unique course, not too long, but with plenty of challenging holes. Many of th green are turtle back, requiring confidence on your approach shots. The views are beautiful, adjacent to many beautiful rolling hills. It is remote enough that you cell phone likely will not work. The carts have an older GPS system, but it is reliable. During the warm months there are water stations on the course. I definitely recommend this course for a healthy challenge with beautiful views.

Played course on 9 November 2024. Staff of course was amazing inside of the pro shop, restaurant, and range. Couldn't have asked for better. The course has a full size range and a chipping/putting green not too far from it. The course was in good condition. A few tee boxes need some work but not too many. Fairways are cut well and green. Bunkers well maintained and greens as well. Some greens has patchy spots and fairways dry in a couple areas within the fairway. The elevation challenges on this course is unmatched. Good luck getting the ball to stop. Greens roll fast. The only "downfall" of this course is you have no cell service to have a working gps and help with club selection. However, that is no fault of the course. It just sucks for new timers like myself. Definitely will be back at this course in the future.
