Beautiful course and layout mired by slow play. Back nine took close to three hours… not a ranger in sight.

TPC Harding Park is a nice course, but only for the Back 9, cause there's not much design in the Front 9 (if you take photos, they'll pretty much look the same), just carpet-like fairway makes you feel like playing in the PGA certified course. (meanwhile I just personally don't like the course surrounded by buildings and traffic) And as the matter of fact, the Back 9 is really better with view to the lake, and luckily I played during late afternoon, the sunset colored the course with golden rays.

Nice track. Carts are path only at all times. Most walk. Non resident rates are ridiculously high for the quality of the course. It’s a very nice course but too steeply priced and not worth the greens fees they charge. $240 a person is a silly amount for what you get. CROWDED, Ball marks everywhere on the greens, no spaces on the range... Pro shop closed their register before we finished our round at 6:30. There were still 4-5 other groups out. Would have bought a few things but they were clearly ready to be done for the day. Overall, worth playing once (maybe) but not worth a second trip for the price. Nice municipal course with lack luster staff. Nothing stood out to set it apart from other courses.

We played in late May - course was in great shape, weather was a bit cool (expected), Fairly large group - the course handled everything with ease. Most had a hour or so drive (also better than expected) - parking was a snap. The course was not "a walk in the park" - it was a challenge all the golfers anticipated and would not have had any other way! Bring your "A" game!

TPC Harding Park is a well-manicured and generally enjoyable course, but it falls short when it comes to character. Yes, it’s hosted a major championship and has the Presidents Cup on the horizon, but for the everyday golfer looking for a memorable recreational round, it feels a bit... flat. Don’t get me wrong—the course has bite. The rough is thick, the trees stand tall, and the greens are fast and fair. It forces you to work the ball off the tee and rewards solid shot-making, but somehow, it all blends together without leaving a lasting impression. Maybe it was the constant pop-pop-pop from the shooting range next door, or the fact that you can’t help but glance enviously at the more pristine private tracks across Lake Merced. Either way, I walked off 18 feeling underwhelmed. For a course with such a big reputation and price tag, I expected more personality.
