Great local course. Very friendly pro shop that showed us around so we knew where to go on the turn, no one does that. Starters were great, gave some great advice and marked up the scorecard so we could reference it. We walked the course and it was a workout. Lots of elevation changes. Holes were beautiful. Conditions were great. Never saw the golden gate though, which I assumed we would but that's my only complaint.

This is an awesome golf course. I rented clubs, they gave me a Qi10 set. Cart, 9 holes, rentals, one beer and a bucket of range balls...... 70 BUCKS :) The views are amazing. Every bolt was picture worthy.

Increadibly beautiful public course. Pro shop guys were very helpful. The topography of the course is increadible. Saw coyotes on the first 2 holes.

The Presidio is a must in San Francisco just like clam chowder and the Golden Gate Bridge. In fact, this course needs to be ranked as one of the best true public courses in the nation. We did start on the back nine, which in my opinion is the more dynamic and better nine, but the views walking up or down 9/10/18 fairways are un-matched, especially when a bit foggy. Besides holes 3 and 5 which run the same direction and are similar length, nothing on the course is repetitive. My favorite section are holes 12-16 which includes two tough but fair par three's and some fun bunkering. Again, I highly recommend this course.

Set against a backdrop of towering trees and rolling hills, this golf club blends natural beauty with a challenging design. The fairways are generous and well-maintained, while the fast greens demand accuracy. Views of the Golden Gate Bridge lend a unique charm to the setting. Although the course is demanding, it’s a must-play in San Francisco for golfers who enjoy strategic play and picturesque scenery. The clubhouse’s timeless design adds to the historic character of the venue.
