Our experience at this hotel was fantastic. We stayed as a couple for a weekend city break and really enjoyed everything. The location was great — close enough to the center, but in a quiet area so we could rest peacefully at night. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated, with large windows and blackout curtains. The bed was comfortable, and we both slept really well. The bathroom was modern and very clean, with hot water at any time. The staff was friendly and professional, and the cleaning service did a great job every day. Breakfast was included in the price and it exceeded our expectations — lots of fresh items, good coffee, and even gluten-free options. We also appreciated the 24-hour reception and the helpful advice they gave about local attractions. We will definitely return here on our next visit.

Amazing Hospitality, A Special Thank You to Don and Chase! This is our third time staying at this hotel, and we absolutely love it here! While we're not a big golfing family, the breathtaking views and relaxing atmosphere keep us coming back. During our recent stay, my 5 year old really wanted to ride in a golf cart. I asked Don and Chase about it, and without hesitation, they kindly offered us a golf cart to take around a couple holes and bring back. Their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond truly made my child’s night and mine! Don and Chase showed the kind of genuine hospitality that makes this place feel so special. It’s rare to find staff who go out of their way to create unforgettable moments like that, and we’re incredibly grateful. Overall, the hotel is beautiful, the staff are welcoming, and the experience is always top notch. But it’s people like Don and Chase who make it exceptional. We’ll definitely keep coming back thank you both for making our stay so memorable!

I met my sister-in-law here for a nice breakfast on a Friday morning. They were far from packed but had a decent amount of people seated. Our waiter was very slow, although kind, I paid $7 for an iced tea and never got it refilled until I asked for a tea to go. The food was delicious, I ordered the mushroom egg scramble and it had wonderful flavor! We enjoyed the view and the overall atmosphere, however, the service did not stand up to the prices that we paid. I would definitely try it again, as we did enjoy our meal overall but it wouldn't be a first pick.

Booked the rancho Bernardo inn for my wife and I’s 7 year anniversary with our toddler and couldn’t have been more disappointed. I’ve helped set up multiple events here over the years and have always wanted to stay due to the beauty and tranquility of the property. While we were hoping for a quiet, peaceful escape to celebrate, this was the exact opposite. The hotel failed to mention anywhere that this weekend they would be hosting 100+ teenagers for regional softball tournaments. It was chaotic. From sunset to 11:30pm it was kids outside on the walkways screaming and chasing each other. Kids in the hallways running up and down and slamming doors. There were boys dribbling a basketball up and down the corridor howling as loud as they could. Getting our toddler to sleep was near impossible till almost midnight. To our understanding this is annual occurrence so it’s astounding that the hotel gives you no forewarning via their website, text or email. That or close it for the weekend to this group only. Our sentiment seems to be shared by others who also booked without knowing this. We would have canceled prior and made plans elsewhere. Thanks for absolutely ruining our anniversary weekend, we’ll never forget it.

My toddler and I tagged along on dad’s work trip and the staff has been wonderfully accommodating. Although this isn’t necessarily a toddler-centric hotel, they’ve made it perfect for us by installing safety railing on our deck, providing us with a crib, and having floats and toys around the pool. Grateful to spend my birthday here and do parenting with a really nice view. :)
