I’d give this course negative stars if I could. The pins are in PREPOSTEROUS locations, and have been cut maybe weeks ago? The course is in generally rough shape, it’s overpriced, and the layout is insane. Par 37 on the front with back to back par 5’s on 2 and 3. This course is worth maybe $40/18, not walkable, and an overall very frustrating experience for anyone who isn’t new to golf. I have played here twice, and would not consider coming back other than for the simulator/clubhouse, which appears fun. Attached is a picture of probably the most picturesque hole, but overall condition left a lot to be desired.

I had the pleasure of playing Shorecliffs Golf Club back in October and was thoroughly impressed. The course itself is a unique blend of challenge and beauty, winding its way through houses and earning its nickname "The Ditch" thanks to the strategic bunkering and elevation changes. Despite a few well-worn tee boxes, the layout was well-maintained and offered a super friendly experience, catering to golfers of all skill levels. I'm particularly excited to see how the new hole will integrate into the course! The brand new clubhouse was a delight, boasting a clean and modern atmosphere with helpful staff and a well-stocked pro shop. The highlight, however, were the par 3s, each offering a unique challenge and plenty of fun. Finishing the round with the last four holes leading back to the clubhouse was truly breathtaking, showcasing the stunning coastal scenery. Overall, Shorecliffs exceeded my expectations. With reasonable green fees, an awesome layout, and a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this club to anyone looking for a memorable round in a beautiful setting.

I've not golfed there yet but the clubhouse is spectacular! The ambiance is so nice, the food is delicious (very large servings), the wine list is diverse, and the service is awesome! I've been here for events before but never for dinner. We chose to go here over another place... I'm glad we did!

I've been playing at Shorecliffs Golf Course for a while now, and I have to commend them on the positive changes they've made regarding their pricing and overall enhancements to the golf club. It's genuinely great to see them making an effort to be more competitive and accessible, which definitely encourages more rounds for local golfers. However, there's a significant issue with the practice putting green that needs immediate attention. It's become frustrating to see golfers consistently chipping on this designated putting-only area. This not only damages the delicate surface, creating an inconsistent roll for actual putting practice, but it's also completely unnecessary. There is a chipping area less than 10 steps away from the putting area. The putting area looked immaculate just 2-3 months ago, now it is a few months away from destruction. I wish there was more oversight or clearer signage and enforcement of rules for the practice facilities. For a course that's clearly invested in improving its value through pricing and renovations, it's a shame to see such a fundamental aspect of the practice area being neglected. Maintaining the integrity of the practice putting green would significantly enhance the overall experience for everyone. I sincerely hope the management at Shorecliffs takes note and implements measures to prevent chipping on the putting green in the future.

I’ve been to 501 Restaurant several times since I live on the property — it's part of the golf course community and I live in the 55+ apartment complex here. Unfortunately, every visit seems to come with some issue, whether it’s inconsistent service, constant menu changes, or inattentive staff. Today, I stopped in for happy hour. The hostess was more focused on cleaning than greeting me — she asked “what can I get for you?” without offering a menu or even saying hello. When I asked to see the wine list, she snapped, “We don’t have any glasses on the happy hour, only bottles,” and continued cleaning. I had to repeat myself just to get basic information. She seemed far more concerned with her side work than actually helping a customer. I ended up leaving because I was so frustrated and disgusted with the lack of service. It was the final straw. This place has no clear direction, poor food, and terrible service. It’s really disappointing, especially given the location and community it serves. I truly wish it was better, but it continues to fall short.
