I had such a great experience in Coach Bill’s beginner golf classes! As someone completely new to the sport, I felt welcomed, encouraged, and supported from day one. Coach Bill has a calm and patient teaching style that made it easy to understand the basics without feeling overwhelmed. He breaks things down in a way that’s fun and approachable, and I’ve already noticed improvements in my swing and confidence. I enjoyed it so much that I may retake a beginner class in the fall as a refresher. Highly recommend for any beginner looking to build a solid foundation!

Woodcreek Golf Course might be one of the worst cared for golf courses in Northern California. The place was absolutely destroyed and yet they still find a way to charge $65 for a weekend tee time. I’ve seen cow pastures in better shape than this place. Bunkers were absolute trash and unplayable. The goose droppings were unbearable and if you were close to a water feature, it smelled like hot garbage. The greens looked like they hadn’t been mowed in 4 days and the cups were so smashed it made putting a crap shoot to say the least. To top it off I was disgusted with my post round meal of a terrible cheeseburger and burnt fries for the low price of $18. Do yourself a favor and drive an extra 3 minutes and pay $5 more to play Timber Creek. The longer we continue to pay these prices for garbage golf courses like this the longer they will stick around to over charge us for a glorified dog track. Woodcreek and the city of Roseville should be ashamed of the product they have provided.

I have been receiving group instruction from Bill Childs and find him to be a great instructor, I look forward to springing for some 1:1 lessons with him shortly. I haven't played the course yet but the driving range and putting green are both beautiful and a great place to practice. I have the utmost respect for Woodcreek Golf Club.

I decided to give Woodcreek Oaks another shot after a year ago being severely disappointed in the course conditions from all around the course. I am happy to say that the golf course has improved quite a lot since I last played. There are still a couple of issues but the glaring issues have been resolved. The first tee still had the issues of range balls littered across the entire right side of the hole. My friend lost his ball in the mix of range balls and had to take a drop despite hitting a ball that landed just in the rough on the right side. I probably threw around 30 range balls into the driving range and there were still a large basket worth of them all along on the right side of the hole. Mind you, my round started just a bit after 7 AM so the balls that were there were not all hit from golfers throughout the day but from previous days. The rest of the course played fairly well. Fairways were in nice shape. The bunkers have improved quite a lot. Greens were decent though were not the greatest as there were pitch marks around the green from rounds from the previous day on some holes. Food was great on the turn like I remembered. I can say that Woodcreek Oaks has made me reconsider about playing at the course again and be a returning player back to my original home course. There are still areas of improvement to work on as noted above but I can easily say that it was an enjoyable experience with some buddies. Solid 4/5.

Woodcreek is an exceptional public golf course. The course offers a challenging yet enjoyable layout with well-maintained fairways and greens. The staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist, making every visit a pleasure. The scenic surroundings truly set this place apart. Highly recommend it to any golfer looking for a fantastic day on the course!
