I was in Orange County for a business trip and had to drive through Los Angeles County after a 5PM meeting. No one wants to spoil a successful meeting by sitting in LA traffic. I figured I’d search for a local golf course that replicates the TopGolf feel using TopTracer technology on the driving range. Tijeras Creek Golf Club enhanced my short business trip, blending productive work with enjoyable golf, dining, and drinks. Instead of sitting miserably in LA traffic, I was at the Toptracer golf range in 10 minutes after 5PM. They have over 30 bays ready to practice your game. Toptracer Range transforms driving range visits, changing them from simple practice to an engaging experience for all skill levels. Real fairway turf provides true course-like conditions for players hitting golf balls. I played 18 virtual holes at the St. Andrews Links Old Course and the Angry Birds Golf challenge from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM for $20. The commute from Orange County to LA County on Thursday evening was smooth and uncrowded after 8PM. I had a wonderful day of business, dinner, drinks, and golf. Thank you team!

We love going as a family. My 8yo daughter just completed the summer golf camp and loved it. All around amazing people at TC! Beautiful course that's fun to play even as a beginner!

I played here on a Saturday for $160 and I wish I could say it was worth it...but the course conditions are lacking at this price point. There are courses for half that price in better shape. The driving range was advertised as hitting off grass on Fri-Sun, but it was off mats unfortunately. The chipping area is a little cramped and jammed right next to hole 10 tee box, guys were practically on the tee box chipping...short game areas needed some more thought behind them. There were several holes that were cart path only and it was apparent they had over-watered with several muddy areas. The fairways and tee boxes were in ROUGH shape (pun kind of intended). Hole #1 was patchy rough in the middle of the fairway. There is goose crap everywhere, EVERYWHERE. Most tee boxes were hard to find a flat area, lots of patches of crabgrass and dirt. The staff were great...I just wish the course was kept in better shape, because this course truly has so much untapped potential. Staff 5/5 Course layout 4/5 Bunkers 5/5 Greens 4/5 Fairways 2.5/5 Tee boxes 2/5

Driving range review. Hit off mats, $20 for a large bucket. They have Toptracer on every stall and it’s free with any size bucket, no extra charge. Invaluable technology to help with a better practice session. I noticed that Toptracer seems to lengthen range sessions, which is great if you're hitting, but if it's busy and you're waiting for a stall, it could get annoying. Very well maintained practice putting greens located just a few steps from the range, but on the small side. No areas dedicated to pitching or bunker practice that I saw.

Played this week, the course is a decent layout, but way over priced for the condition. Some of the greens had a lot of goose feces on them and were way to wet, I had 5 shots plug on the greens. Same thing in the fairways, especially on the front 9. The tees are mostly cut down weeds and crab grass. If the course was maintained better, it would be a really nice track to play, but not at current prices.
