Description

Originally laid out by Peter Hay and recently redesigned by Tiger Woods, The Hay is a stunning short course steps from Pebble Beach. Every hole offers postcard views of Carmel Bay or glimpses of the famous 18th. Despite being all par-3s, it’s no pushover — tight bunkering and creative greens keep players engaged. It’s perfect for a quick loop or sharpening your wedge game.

We visited as a tourist . We viewed this world of the rich and famous from outside. It is rumoured that a game of golf here costs $1000 onwards . The rooms cost $1200 onwards. We just took pictures of the amazing bay scenery the 18th hole golf greens and walked away.

I finally got to book a tee time at Pebble Beach! Make sure to arrive about an hour before your tee time, check in, and take the shuttle up to the driving range. I checked in with the starter about 15 minutes before my tee time and met the other three players I was playing with and their caddies. I didn’t pay for a caddie because the other single and twosome in my group each had one. The caddies were amazing! They helped me with course management and strategy. On a few holes, I would have been 20-30 yards short of the green because of the slope, wind, and where I needed to land. There were so many iconic holes along the way, and the caddies were happy to take lots of pictures for us. If you ever have the chance to play at Pebble Beach, I highly recommend it. It’s a bit pricey, but the experience is once in a lifetime.

My best friend & I had lunch at the Bench. It was a picture perfect day. We dined on a Monday in October. The restaurant was not crowded, the food & the service was great. Not too expensive for the most gorgeous view!! Highly recommend!

Just did the 17 mile drive through 'Pebble Beach Golf Links'. Gates at either end & pay $12.50 for entry...a few stops to lookout at the Pacific Ocean over rocky cliffs. Can see some very large homes, alot secluded by gates & trees, but massive! Some tight tree lined corners so take it slow. Good to do whilst time in the area. The diehards with time will play here, as world renowned & superb golfing! Enjoy
