Shorter, but narrower course. Really nice and well kept. Great value in the desert.

CVCAN recently held its annual golf outing at Woodhaven. It could not have gone better. Super attentive staff and management. Great pricing and wonderful service. I strongly recommend for all your event needs. Martha and her events team, and Nicklaus and his golf team are simply the best!!

Had a lot of fun. Not so challenging but in great shape and lots of fun. People here are fantastic. Everyone was so kind and nice. Mark in the pro shop is one hell of a man. Went out of his way to help us. The restaurant staff were excellent and the you g men outside were all great. The course was a lot of fun. I would definitely play here again

Beautiful venue and friendly staff!! I have had the pleasure to Dj two wedding receptions at this location and they really take care of you. The staff is on top of everything and very easy to work with. I also provided uplighting devices which helped enhance the venue architectural design.

Woodhaven Country Club is a decent option for golf enthusiasts and those looking for a relaxed country club atmosphere, but it doesn’t quite reach the level of excellence that many expect from a private club. While it has some positives—such as a well-kept course and a friendly atmosphere—there are a few shortcomings that prevent it from standing out among the many other clubs in the area. The golf course at Woodhaven is well-maintained, with fairways that are in relatively good shape and greens that are smooth and playable. The layout, however, is fairly basic and not particularly memorable. For casual golfers, this might be fine, as it provides an easygoing round without too much difficulty. However, for those looking for a more challenging or dynamic course, Woodhaven may feel underwhelming. There are a few holes that offer some interesting features, but for the most part, the design lacks the creativity that more renowned courses offer. The scenery is pleasant but not spectacular, with a mix of palm trees and water features that don’t necessarily elevate the course to anything special. One issue some golfers have pointed out is the pace of play. On busy days, rounds can take longer than expected due to slow-moving groups ahead. This is a common issue at many public and semi-private courses, but for a country club, it can be frustrating when you're expecting a smooth, uninterrupted game. Additionally, while the maintenance is generally good, there are times when certain areas of the course could use more attention, such as bunker consistency and tee box conditions. The clubhouse at Woodhaven provides all the standard amenities one would expect, but it lacks the upscale feel of higher-end country clubs. It’s clean and functional but doesn’t have the same sense of luxury that some members might be looking for. The pro shop is adequately stocked with golf essentials, though the selection is fairly standard. One of the biggest letdowns is the dining experience. While the restaurant offers a decent variety of food and drinks, the quality is hit or miss. Some dishes are enjoyable, while others feel uninspired. The service also varies—on some visits, staff members are attentive and friendly, but at other times, they seem rushed or indifferent. For a country club, where service should be a high priority, this inconsistency is disappointing. One positive aspect of Woodhaven Country Club is its welcoming and relaxed environment. Unlike some clubs that can feel overly exclusive or pretentious, Woodhaven is more approachable. Members and guests generally seem friendly, and the atmosphere is not as stiff as some of the more formal country clubs. This makes it a good option for those who want to enjoy a social round of golf or a casual gathering without worrying about an overly strict dress code or club rules. That being said, some members have expressed frustration over the club’s lack of upgrades. Certain areas of the facility feel outdated, and while they are functional, they don’t necessarily provide the upscale experience that many country club members seek. Compared to other clubs in the region, Woodhaven doesn’t do much to distinguish itself in terms of luxury or exclusivity. Woodhaven Country Club is a solid choice for those looking for a casual golf experience and a relaxed country club atmosphere. It offers a decent golf course, a friendly membership base, and basic amenities that get the job done. However, it falls short in several areas, including course creativity, dining quality, and overall facility upkeep. If you’re a casual golfer who prioritizes an easygoing experience over a highly challenging or scenic course, Woodhaven might suit your needs just fine. However, if you’re looking for a top-tier golf club with a challenging layout, high-end amenities, and consistently excellent service, there are better options available in the area. It’s a good club—but not a great one.
