Newly designed Poppy ridge is a true links style course, with a Scottish feel. They have delivered on creating a high quality course with rolling fairways, large greens with the ability to putt from afar, and pro level length. Bermuda grass wasn't bad at all and the greens were true and fast. What I didn't like was tee boxes on fairways, and in one case the tee box for the next hole right in sight for the person teeing off for the previous par 3 green. Overall, well done NCGA!!

This course just reopened a few weeks ago. Was a three nine layout, now and 18 hole layout with a 9 hole layout. Played the eighteen hole course. Really liked the new layout. Simarnto Poppy Hills in that no real rough, but if you miss the fairway, some issues arise. Will definitely add this course to my rotation.

If to rank all the vineyard type of courses I've ever played, Poppy Ridge is top 3 (Wente is still the best, and Eagle Ridge might rank similarly with Poppy, but I only got to play at the composite 9 holes twice, see if the rank can be advanced once the 18, hole is fully constructed next year). This temporary 9 holes is a combination of their used-to-br three 9-hole courses, but mainly Merlot, the new Hole 3 to 8 are the old Merlot Hole 1 to 5, while they divided the old Hole 5 (par 5) into 2 par 4s, and you know what these 2 new short par 4 holes are my favorites, as you might be able to drive your balls onto the greens directly, though the wind is very strong here

Got married at Poppy Ridge in April and it was such smooth and wonderful experience thanks to Abby and Tiffani. As we were planning our wedding by ourselves, we greatly appreciated their expertise and recommendations throughout the process. I greatly appreciated how accessible Abby and Tiffani made themselves to us in our final weeks of planning. On the day of, they managed our timeline well and the food was fantastic! We think Poppy Ridge is a fantastic venue if you’re looking for a flexible space or planning a DIY/local wedding :) we especially loved that there were lots of opportunities to customize the options, they had a lot of wedding pieces included (cutlery, linens, etc) already, and we were able to come in the day before to drop off items for set up.

Really good course, great greens. And it seems its gonna get better
