La Quinta (Mountain) is an 18-hole Regulation style resort course designed by Pete Dye in 1980. The course features Winter Rye tees and fairways, as well as TifDwarf Bermuda greens. With a yardage of 6666 and a par of 72, the course has a rating of 72.8 and a slope of 135. It is located at an elevation of 125 feet and offers a challenging yet enjoyable playing experience. La Quinta (Mountain) has hosted the World Cup of Golf in 1985 and continues to be a popular venue for PGA Tour events. Tim Liddy, an architect, worked on the course in 2024 to further enhance its beauty and playability. The course also offers amenities such as power carts, rental clubs, a driving range, lodging, a spa, and allows walking.
