How on earth does this place have 4 stars? Horrible start to finish. Rooms are gross, pool is tiny and dirty, service is horrible. Don't arrive late, there's no one there to check you in. My parents booked 2 nights here during Indian Wells tennis and ended up moving the second night to the Motel 6 which was a big improvement.

The golf course was great, and pretty well taken care of. The staff for this was great. We checked in an hour early, to the hotel. They charged $25 extra to do so. We didn't mind, until we saw what we paid extra for. The appearance as we walked in, was clean. After this, we saw what all was not taken care of. There were minimal towels, no pool towels, no cups or glasses of any sort. There was no coffee pot, which would have been fine, if it would have been available at the clubhouse. There was one thin blanket, dingy sheets, and a horrible mattress. I don't think they have put anything into their facility for years. The pool and spa were dirty, and the spa heater did not work. Needless to say, we were quite disappointed.

This place is a complete disaster. Indian Palms Country Club & Resort should be embarrassed to call itself a golf course or a resort. The “greens” and “fairways” were nothing but patches of dirt and weeds — unplayable, ugly, and easily the worst course I’ve seen in Southern California. The “resort” side is even more of a joke. My room was filthy and falling apart, with an air conditioner that barely sputtered in 105° heat. No working TV service, no amenities, and to top it off, check-in wasn’t even at a front desk — it was at the golf shop counter like some cheap roadside motel. For $148 a night, it felt like outright robbery. I wouldn’t recommend this dump to anyone. Spend your money anywhere else — you’d be better off pitching a tent in the desert than staying or playing here.

10:00am. Second day at the hotel. Went down to the pool and saw a dead rat floating in the hot tub. I scooped it out and threw it into the bushes by the BBQ. I immediately went to the front office to tell staff. They said "Oh, you scooped it out? Our maintenance guy was going to go get that out this morning". So, the maintenance guy didn't think that a dead rat in the hot tub was an immediate chore for that morning? He thought waiting until after 10am was soon enough? What an absolute dump.

Sad to see a course that has so much potential be poorly maintained. Had such a terrible experience playing today . Right off the bat this course has not been reseeded in easily the last two years . Hitting off the fairways I got injured due to the poor conditions. You’re hitting off rock solid dried grass that feels like concrete( on the fairway) So good luck if u chunk it ! when I got to hole #9 the cart guy grabbed my ball and walked away with it . When I approached the starter he couldn’t retrieve my ball back. No biggie I waited to the end which btw I didn’t even finish 18 holes due to my injury. I still went to get my ball back and the gentlemen that grabbed my ball was real defensive and said the starter had my ball . Didn’t even apologize, didn’t even acknowledge that he picked up my ball and didn’t handle the whole situation professionally we just walked out … I don’t recommend anyone to waist there money here 70$ for a jungle is honestly ridiculous. I want my money back . I feel robbed , I got hurt , I got disrespected. Poor roughs Poor golf shop Poor fairways (harder then the rough) Seating areas are outgrown Tees are all over the place Flags in the wrong area Cups haven’t been changed in weeks Car paths arent edged up Bunkers have NO SAND The Golf shop needs training Branches everywhere Unsafe to drive if you’re not in the cart path Irrigation boxes are caved in Poor prices This place has no business giving out tee times before someone else gets hurt .
