The golf course features an absolutely great layout that effectively challenges players' skills. While the fairways are quite brown and in need of some TLC, which is understandable during the dry season, the well-maintained greens add to the challenge. Despite these issues, the course remains enjoyable, and I give it 5 stars for its outstanding layout and the overall experience.

Been hearing from other golfers that this place is closing, and the owner has sold half of the land to RV camping site ........ That's too bad, cause this is one of the best course around the Bay Area, even through it's not well maintained, but the landscape and ambience is 👍 good Lots of up and down hills, that you need to tee off across the ditches, challenging but fun. I like Hole 12 particularly, you need to drive the ball across a small valley, and you need to control your second shot by not hitting too well to fly over the green and get into another valley. BTW, the brown valley, the green trees, the blue skies, and the white clouds, it just all add up.

I had not played this course in some years because of the hard, patchy, dry, parched fairways and divot-marked greens. Having returned by invitation to Franklin yesterday, I found the course to be almost in the same condition. I grant that there were a few beautiful holes and the course, if managed well, with it's challenging layout, could be a spectacular track, but it is not worth the time or money. I won't return!

Decidedly not worth the green fees. Tee shots hit into the fairway consistently find hard packed dirt landings and erratic bounces. Many greens are surrounded by loose dirt which is a joy to chip from. Heard complaints of a lack of water and that was clearly evident on many holes, however other holes were flooded and had clear signs of irrigation leaks. Food/beverages in the clubhouse was well priced and decent. Most greens were in playable condition for a muni. Its clear that there is a water management issue at the property.

Rude employee, course needs water, sprinklers were broken and flooding the course. Wouldn’t recommend for $30 + $20 for carts.
