I've only just started playing golf seriously in the past 6 months. A huge part of that has been thanks to Scholl Canyon GC. The pro shop staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for the one conversation after Kathy had noticed that I was frequenting the range almost every weekend, to enroll in the Players Club, where for $49/month and $64/month, I could enjoy a medium or large bucket of range balls everyday. It was an easy sale. The Driving Range is open until 10pm (last bucket of balls vends at 9pm), and in my experience, there's no better feeling after a successful range session and driving down Glenoaks Blvd with one of the best views of the Downtown Los Angeles Skyline. Pictures do not do it justice. Oh and there are Trackman monitors at like 20 of the 30+ bays, which you can connect to your smartphone app to track your distances, map your bag, and play virtual rounds of golf. The Players Club membership also gives you a discount on greens fees and cart rentals. I'll sometimes come here on a Thursday or Friday afternoon for a twilight round and pay $8 to walk or $13 to ride. That is unheard of in the greater LA area. Sure it's a par 60, but perfect place to practice your short game.

Had a great time here yesterday! Really challenging par 3/4 course with some serious elevation changes! You'd think 87 yard shots would be "easy" but hole placements were tough and sometimes you could barely see the flag! Well kept greens. The scenery and wildlife were awesome as well. Rental clubs were some of the nicest I've used before. Breakfast to start the day at the club cafe. Will def be back to play again.

Cool course, but the pace of play is a little slow.

- Added - I was able to find his picture from a past review, the picture of the guy who insulted me for a large bucket of less filled range golf balls. The past review was about offering a bottle of water as a apology to a customer whose tee time got delayed an hour. This guy looks down on customers. By the way Ryan, I also emailed this to your GM which has been ignored. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am writing this because I was treated unfairly by one of your employees, a short Asian guy who was working there during the evening said to me "if you don't like it, go somewhere else," The machine gives out less balls than it is supposed to sometimes. But it is okay as long as you match up when you complain. Throughout the last week, it was less but the ok amount dropped. But it happened yesterday. It gave me around 90 balls while the medium bucket had around 80 balls. Believe it or not, I counted them one by one. I went to the pro shop and I got some more balls to compensate for that. One of the guys gave me some more balls. (the short Asian guy was there saw me complaining about it.) And to be honest with you, it was not the first time I got some more balls because of that. There were a several times I did that because it gave me significantly less balls before. However, it gave me around 80 balls this time on 4/2/2025, and I went to the office to complain again that it was giving a lot less than it was supposed to, hoping they would match the number of balls. If you see the number I mentioned above, you would know that there was no difference between the medium bucket and the large bucket. The large bucket has almost the same amount of balls as the medium bucket? I understand it could happen. and I asked him if it makes sense, he said "it doesn't!" Then he said "Then email the GM." plus said a bunch of nonsense about Starb**ks making smaller cup sizes??? They do not shrink the cup sizes !!! Hey, do you think that is a good example ??? Even if Starb**ks makes cup sizes smaller, there is a significant difference between Grande and Venti !!! He said he can't give me more balls if I complain everyday. I was hoping that you guys could fix it, but you didn't And this was the time he added "If you don't like it, go somewhere else!" ??? Wow!!!??? I didn't see that coming. This is how you treat your customers? Complaining about unfairness then telling them to go away???
