I absolutely love this course. It’s my home turf and I learned how to play here - that being said, the staff here have ruined the experience. I discourage my groups from playing here because of the abrasive staff and push instead for the much more friendly and welcoming people at Paradise Valley up the road. The staff at RS really think they’re something special and their attitude reflects it. I’ve played Pebble Beach, a truly world class golf course, and the staff there is so much warmer and more welcoming than they are at Rancho Solano. Although I miss the course itself, I avoid this place like the plague nowadays. 7/10 for the course, 3/10 for the staff. There is one sweet bartender there and a couple of decent gentleman at the golf club. The rest of them are absolutely miserable company.

This is an amazing course all around!!! From the front to the back everything looks gorgeous!!! This course is a must play!!! I liked it so much that I came back the very next day!!!

This is a beautiful facility. 😍 Tee to green plush. Huge undulated greens, perfect tees and fairways. Greens rolled fast, and were just a little bumpy from aerification, but it was very fun, with multiple tees for your skill level. A spectacular venue. Agronomy is 9 out of 10. Very well maintained. The only thing I didn't see was a chipping green. They may have one, just don't know. The bar and kitchen staff were really kind and the food was good. I will certainly be putting this course in the rotation.

Good condition and fast green. Love the layout, challenging but not too difficult. The pace was OK, completed the weekend afternoon round in 5 hours. Definitely worth the one hour drive.

Definitely a five ⭐ star. Condition is good, course layout is good, course design is good, meanwhile, this is the only course serves fresh and cold water at every other 3 holes, shows how caring they are. Like Hole 14 a lot, there's a big slop on the left, you have to drive the ball to the right, to avoid ball sliding into the tule reeds field. P.S. there's 3 Par 3 and 3 Par 5 in the back 9, have 😊 fun
