Beautiful long course with well preserved nature. We saw two wild deer during our golf here.

My experience at The Vineyard at Escondido was fantastic! I had always wanted to try golfing but really had no idea what to expect. The staff was so welcoming and explained things thoroughly which lowered my anxiousness. Customer service was certainly on par. The general manager Jose was genuinely excited for me making contact with the golf balls on the green especially for a newbie which made me feel like I belong. The grounds are beautiful! We saw turtles in the ponds, the greens were plush, and the views of vineyards and the mountains are breathtaking. The 18 holes are well thought out and challenging. I can’t imagine the hours that go into keeping those grounds so well kept. I didn’t get to spend too much time at the driving range but I’ll be sure to spend more time there at my next visit. Oh and the clubhouse had some great food on the menu, and a full bar to enjoy a cocktail or refreshment. Newbies and experienced players alike would have a great experience at The Vineyard like I did. I could tell a lot of people there were experienced players and everyone was so kind. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Whether it was the pro shop, starter, or clubhouse team, everyone went above and beyond to make the day enjoyable. The course itself is in fantastic shape. Every hole is thoughtfully designed and very playable, offering the perfect balance between challenge and enjoyment for players of all skill levels. Fairways were pristine, greens rolled true, and the layout made for a great pace of play. What really stood out was the driving range and practice area — clean, well-maintained, and actively used without ever feeling overcrowded. The short-game practice holes were a bonus, allowing for a solid warm-up before teeing off and some fun post-round practice. Overall, this course delivers a complete golf experience: top-tier customer service, beautifully maintained facilities, and a team that truly understands and loves the game. I’ll definitely be returning — highly recommended! Any review not grading the course of 5 stars is a huge understatement and should not be taken serious

A Perfect Venue for a Bridal Shower! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently hosted a bridal shower at the Vineyard at Escondido Golf Course, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience! We rented their club facility, and it was absolutely stunning. The recent renovations have truly elevated the space—it’s elegant, modern, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect ambiance for our celebration. From the beginning, the staff was incredibly professional and attentive. A special shoutout to Samantha, who coordinated our event flawlessly. She was responsive, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. Thanks to her, everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was delicious, and the kitchen staff thoughtfully accommodated our vegan guests without missing a beat. It’s rare to find a venue that balances quality service, beautiful aesthetics, and affordability so well—but the Vineyard at Escondido GC did just that. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for anyone planning a bridal shower, wedding, party, or special event. The space is gorgeous, the team is amazing, and your guests will leave raving just like mine did. Thank you to the entire team for making our day so special!

Played third week of July, 10am tee time on a Thursday. Course was busy. Overall decent course for the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. They had double booked my tee time with another group but starter got it figured out quickly. Unfortunately the golfers that play here might be less experienced or just don’t care. Every green had multiple divots to fix. On a hole following a tee shot watched another golfer pickup my ball. When approached about it he denied taking it. Course could be in better shape but for the price not sure more could be expected.
