This course is a very big safety risk there has been many holes I’ve fallen into because of no tapes of area of marker as you can never see anything in the swap conditions there. Also the staff may come off as nice but as time goes on they will blame regulars for the things young golfers do. Also there greens have goffer holes they don’t fix but just move rhe dirt off the green sometimes not at all. I have played here since last year and have seen the greens grow I do wish this place was where it once was but sadly that’s far from. Some of the workers are outright rude in my opinion for the price Stanislaus golf course or the one in ceres is better for the price and the greens are a actual green instead of looking like uks temp fairway greens

This place should just be known as a driving range. It would have been nice to be informed that there are literally NO GREENS before I swiped my card. Been here a couple times and I know what I am paying for.. But upon arrival (after paying) I noticed the flag was about 25 - 30ft in front of the green for every hole. the temporary greens are cut at about 1.5 inches high so leave your putter at home. I keep giving this place a chance but it is so rundown and withering away.. Unfortunately as a local, I won't be back anytime soon. Some advice, be transparent with your customers on the condition of the course. You work there, and you're well aware how dicey it is..

My son and I have been to Escalon Golf Course a few times to use their driving range. It's $12 for a full bucket of golf balls. We usually get 2 buckets and spend an hour and a half to enjoy the afternoon. This place is in my little hometown of Escalon.

I think Covid hit most small courses pretty hard. Glad to see they're working on it though. Fairway is ok, but the greens are still really sad. Hoping it'll bounce back🤞🏻

I've passed by this course multiple times commuting from Modesto and it has always looked like a nice course...from afar. I called to set up a tee time and it seemed fine and all set up. I arrive for my tee time and the info wasn't put in the system(which is understandable as the ball collector for the range had just broken down), then as I'm paying for the round, I'm just then notified that the greens and course are going through a resending and the greens were pushed back and supposedly the tee boxes(it would have been nice if it were disclosed over the phone and not 'hey surprise, you're not going to get in a decent round'), I figured screw it since I drove there already. The golf carts, not safe at all, dont use #9, the key is broken off in it, the brakes are completely shot, i had to push my foot all the way down to get them to engage and the steering is all over the place. First hole is just rough, the grass hadn't been cut in days, the "temporary green" wasnt cut so you just put on fairway, get to the second hole, the par 3 has turned into a par 2(there was only enough distance to chip from the temp tee box to the temp "green"). You look at each hole beyond it and the whole course is the same way. I go back instantly from the 2nd hole and ask for a refund and just to get a bucket of balls and when I did, the person at the counter just kept giving excuses why things aren't right or why it wasn't disclosed over the phone. Its insulting that people are even being charged to play here while the course is in disrepair and going through repairs. You should have the course closed for the grass to properly grow and heal if it is being reseeded. I know its a business and it has to make money, but still, unacceptable. At least there's the driving range?...Very upsetting experience.
