Great 9 hole golf course and its well kept. Staff was super friendly. Our first time being there and for sure will go back, and its next to a brewery, so golf and then 1 min drive to a cold drink yes plz haha..

Pretty nice public course. 9 holes and well maintained. Greens are challenging. Driving range offers covered stalls with mats, and grass. Chipping and putting greens tend to get crowded.

They need someone on the course making at least some attempt to manage pace of play badly. The course is in fairly good shape and the layout isn’t bad for a short 9 hole but I had maybe the least enjoyable round of golf in my life yesterday. We were behind a group of teens who clearly weren’t particularly experienced which isn’t a bad thing on its own- you’ve got to learn somewhere. Unfortunately this group was spending as much time passing joints around on the tee box and greens as they were swinging their clubs and had no regard for anyone behind them at all. A layout like these leads to some waiting by nature but the amount of time they took to tee off (multiple times each per hole) with wide open fairway in front of them was insane. At the 6th hole we finally saw an employee driving around and multiple people talked to him about the pace of this group but he did not seem to care at all. Looked like he got out and said something to them briefly but I have no idea what and it made zero difference. At the time we walked off 6 green there was a group on the fairway waiting to hit, two groups stacked up waiting at the tee box, and two groups waiting to play the 5th hole. Nobody who plays public courses around here is a stranger to slow pace of play and the course having so many short holes doesn’t help this either but when it feels like the staff does not care about it at all & they’re just stacking up tee times I feel zero reason to go back. Couldn’t make the tee time cheap enough for me to return there now which is a shame because the course itself could be fun to play if you weren’t waiting minutes at a time between shots

I wish I could give them a zero. I called about golf lessons . They told me to go online fill out the form and if I didn't hear anything wait for a couple of days . That made me want to wait to see just how long it would take if I didn't call back . It's been 5 days now and I still haven't heard back from them . When you consider that this is under the Elk Grove Community Services district, funded by public tax funds, I wonder where my tax money is going when I get customer service like this. Really sad that they can't follow up , and that when I was told to go to the website and fill out the form they already indicated that there's a problem with people getting call backs. So so sad

Nice 9 hole, pretty challenging greens, great driving range. Very small parking lot with narrow stalls. I have to add that I've never around so many grumpy golfers in one place, at the same time. The shack master obviously sets the tone, a real live Bob Cratchit. WoW!
