Description

Los Lagos is a Regulation style 18-hole Muni golf course located in Costa Mesa. Designed by Billy Bell, Jr. in 1967, it features Kikuyu grass on the tees, fairways, and greens. With a yardage of 6567 and a par of 72, the course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers. The recent work on the course was done by architect Ron Fream in 1992. Amenities include a power cart, driving range, and walking allowed on the course.

Pro shop staff ( the window area where we check-in) is extremely rude. Not happy then get a different job. Extremely slow pace

Played Los Lagos today. It took 4 1/2 hours. Pretty good for Los Lagos. Course is in great shape. Wish I could say the same for the people working there specifically, the Marshall, who was very ignorant and rude and for the starter who was rude and demeaning to my friend. Just keep this in mind if you want to play there. It’s a shame. I’m 70 years old and I’ve played there since I was a teenager. Management needs to know!

THIS HAS TWO DIFFERENT GOLF COURSES ! IN ONE LOCATION ! IT'S BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED ! THERE'S AN AWESOME RESTAURANT THAT SERVES DELICIOUS BREAKFAST, LUNCH & DINNER ! IT'S VERY POPULAR HERE , YOU'LL NEED TO RESERVE A TEE TIME AND A CART ! ENJOY & HAVE FUN 😎

Great course really well maintained. Unfortunately has a horrible pace of play. With multiple groups of 5 can take 6 hours half the time you’re just waiting for 1-3 groups to tee off. Management should be more mindful of this. Also when I book late tee times I think a lot of people sneak in as I’ll book and shows everything empty but yet the course is full. I’m sure people just sneak in and start playing so the course is also losing money this way.
