Amazing and very well kept. Narrow fairways. Greens were great, fairly easy to read. The staff was first rate! Really outgoing and friendly. This was my first opportunity to golf California, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Played course on August 17th, 2024. I must say this was the most warm welcoming feeling I have had in a long time at a golf course. The starter was amazing, informational, and friendly. I wish I knew his name to give him a shoutout. The lady in the pro shop was also very welcoming. As for amenities, they have a good driving range, putting, and chipping area. Most tee boxes are good, fairways need more attention, greens are great, and the bunkers would be better if golfers did their part. This is a great and well kept course which is a hidden gem. Prices very reasonable and affordable. Highlight recommend and will be back.

Fairways can be a bit rough but it's good enough. Greens are solid. It's a challenging course for beginners - can be tricky to find the next hole and plenty of water hazards and sand traps. But super fun, typically not too busy, reasonable green and club rental prices. About $114 for 2 including golf cart and one rental club set (E5 + guest). $36 for cart, $14 for weekday E5 and below guest, and civilian guest weekday is $41. Great views, cool to watch all of the air traffic leaving and arriving close overhead. Cool ocean breeze, sunny. Golf carts have a decent gps system with maps for the holes. Pro shop is well stocked with everything you need.

I played this course yesterday with a buddy. First time. The tips are just over 6k yards. The course is fun and challenging. The views on the back 9 are great and it's cool to see planes landing right over you. I found the fairways to be in good shape. The greens were excellent and fast. The bunkers did have a little funky sand in them, but nothing terrible. There was a nice mix of hole types with some legit dog legs. The staff was friendly and helpful. One note: driving range is closed on Tuesdays until 11am for maintenance. The chipping and putting practice areas are small, but sufficient. With planes taking off and landing, it can be noisy, which you can work around. The sound of freedom isn't quiet! I'd definitely play here again.

Nicest course I played while in San Diego. The greens were in excellent shape, consistent throughout all 18 holes. Fairways great too, mostly wide open with some challenging holes. Lots of water hazards. And playing along the beach did not suck at all. My Buddy holed out with a chip shot from 65yds for birdie. Very fun and forgiving. Great pro shop, staff was excellent. Restaurant staff was great too.
