Today my friend and I — both of us having played this course more than 15 times — were completely blindsided by their new “resident membership” policy when we went to pay for our tee time. I booked online through their website at a rate of $71.49 per person. When we arrived, they told us that price only applied if we were new Enagic Membership San Diego County Residents. Our only options were to either sign up for an additional $40 per person membership fee or pay $112 each, not the $71.49 we had booked. Nowhere during checkout or in the confirmation email did it mention this requirement. Long story short, the course was practically empty — plenty of tee times available and hardly anyone on the grounds. Staff explained the new membership policy went into effect June 1, but insisted there was nothing they could do. Instead of apologizing for the extremely misleading situation and honoring the price we had booked, they refused to work with us. The manager even admitted this issue comes up often but still wouldn’t call the GM to resolve it. This is a textbook example of false advertising and terrible customer service. I’ve played here many times and even brought friends along in the past, but this experience lost them a loyal customer for life. Trying to push a hidden membership fee at the counter is nothing more than a scam. Bad business, bad transparency, and bad management. Save your money and play elsewhere.

Played course on August 11th, 2024. Course has great amenities such as driving range, chipping, and putting greens. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They also have a marshall who drives around often along with a cart girl who you see at least twice. As for the course it is a very good layout which can be challenging and punishing if you don't shape your shots correctly. Conditions of the course are pretty good. However, there are some spots within the fairway that are patching and need some attention. The bunkers are some of the best maintained i've seen since living in California. As for the greens, they are currently being extended to make the larger so they have a lot of bumps and uneven lies. But, majority of the putts rolled very well and nothing to complain about. I would give another star but because of the work currently getting done I gave it three. I will come back in a few months to give it a better rating. Highly recommend this course to players.

I will never play here again. First reason- Couse conditions are worse than Chula Vista Municipal. Tee boxes are bad, 220 in the middle of the fairway no grass, bunkers are horrible, filled with water. Not worth the Hot Deal I paid let alone $150.00 for a Friday. Second reason- My "GPS" cart locked out, said I was in a restricted area. I was actually in a public street intersection between #9 and #10 and was a sitting duck in traffic. Calling the pro shop was zero help. The rest in my group had to go to them to get me another cart. Lost 20 minutes due to this issue and cart kept telling me to keep up with the group in front of me? No apologies from staff.

I was sitting in my patio, enjoying the sun while one of the golfers hit my window and shattered glass all over me. I caught the guy while I’m looking at the window and I yelled at him. Hey, you broke my glass. He said no I did not. Ignored as never happened . I went to the club owner the manager, and I showed him all the photo and all the glass and the golf ball Who hit my window and broke my double glass window.🤬 and he hundred percent ignored . it and he said we have no responsibility for golfers and we can’t force them to come and talk to you 😡 I would like to know what is exactly your responsibility when your golfers enjoying their play and I have to pay for the window which they broke ?!!. How even you’re running a business with not having any responsibility?!! They would not put me in contact with the golfer. Now I have to pay for my window while I was in a stress situation while that happened and have been ignored by the manager of the club that they are not responsible for the golfers as they are few golfers and one of them signed so the one who sign has to be responsible for any damage to any properties or any injury as your regulation please see attached all the photos . they said we can pass your number to them, but it doesn’t mean they’re gonna contact me This is the ridiculous ridiculous awful management. We’re going ahead with all the neighbours around and we’re filing complaints against them . You should be responsible for the any damage, or injuries that caused by your golfers causing to our properties . For your information, one of the worker mentioned were responsible for our home to be here and if caused any damage, we’re responsible for it not them, even though .

If this place had the passion for having a good driving range and well kept course as they do for the dress code. Please have a look at the range mats I took pictures of. I felt like I was hitting off of the concrete there is hardly any turf it’s ripped and has no option for tees. There are maybe 15 driving range boxes and they are ALL terrible. It’s obvious that this USED to be a country club, the old days of that club are LOOOOOONG gone but the rules still remain no carts in the parking lot etc. I think that this and National City golf course are the worse kept courses in San Diego but at least national city isn’t pretending to be a country club like this place is. Take your money else where don’t spend it cause it obviously doesn’t go to the facilities here. Fix the golf course or drop the rules cant have both.
