Set in the oak studded foothills of Chico, Canyon Oaks is a semi private course that blends elevation change, ravine carries, and natural hazards into a championship caliber test. Opened in 1996 and designed by Jim Summers, it stretches just over 6,800 yards with a par of 72. Fairways are framed by oaks and rugged hillsides, rewarding precision off the tee and nerve on approach shots over canyons. The routing provides scenic variety‚ from elevated par 3s to rolling par 5s‚ while still offering playability for higher handicaps with multiple tees. The dramatic setting and well conditioned greens make it a standout in Northern California's inland corridor.

Not only is the course phenomenal, but the service is great. Gabe is one of the best bar tenders around. Always makes sure we have a good time. Hope he stays here for awhile
