The staff was very friendly and helpful. Came to the driving range and it wasn’t too busy. Highly recommend!

I need to clarify my 5-star rating. For the course, I give a 4. For the staff, a 10 if I could. I lost a club during a round while on vacation, thinking it was most likely here. Although it wasn’t found, I wanted to recognize that the staff, especially Rick, in the clubhouse, went above and beyond to search for my stick. I highly recommend Birch Hill. Nice track, nicer staff!

It was the perfect place to take my grandson this week. We had fun, we were challenged, we walked, we weren't crowded from behind nor did we wait, for the most part. The greens were pretty well filled with ball-marks, but that seems to be the sign of the times with people no longer repairing their ball-marks. The bunkers suffer the same fate. No one knows how to rake up their mess in the bunkers anymore. All that being said, we were treated well by the staff, the course layout was fun but not overwhelming for a beginning golfer, and overall our experience was positive. Would I return? Of course. It's still a great place to teach a young person both golf etiquette, and how to rake traps and fix ball marks. This is not meant to be critical of Birch Hills, but more of a commentary about poor self-maintenance by the users of the course itself. We fixed 5 to 10 ball marks on every green we played, and raked every bunker we were in. It's the right thing to do to a nice little gem in Brea.

Love playing here. The greens today are in really good shape. Notice some tee boxes getting some needed work. Great place to work on your short game. Can't wait to get beack soon..

Pro shop guy, Jordan, has horrible customer service. Rude guy rejected our tee time because we got there at 7:35am for a 7:35am tee time. Ridiculous. His manager finally came and let us play but I think Jordan was having a power trip. Shout out to the older gentlemen was letting us in. The course is nice, just a lot of par 3’s. Pace of play is slow because of a lot of newbies or people playing multiple balls with no regulations.
