Chalk is my home course. With the new range setup, love seeing all the golfers out there. Played Chalk this past weekend. Pace was slower...wished the Marshal was out their managing the pace and grouping slow singles and pairs. Otherwise, I always enjoy the course. Wish they could turn down the summer temperatures though...love the extra daylight lately.

Five Stars – Fun, Challenging, and Tasty! Chalk Mountain was such a blast! The course was fun and tough—definitely kept me on my toes, but in the best way. Super glad I got the chance to play here. On the turn, we had to try the world-famous hot dog—and yep, it absolutely lived up to the hype. So good! Everyone we met was super friendly and welcoming, from the pro shop to the snack bar. Great vibes all around. Already looking forward to coming back!

This course had some gopher piles, some bare and rough spots in the fairways, puddles in the bunkers. Always a challenging course. If you order a lunch at the cafe, take it on thr cart and don't lose your place. We did after eating quickly on the patio. At Morro Bay Golf.course you can get back on the back nine and play as long as you wait in line to play. Maybe it was from booking nine holes at Chalk Mountain for the back nine. We had the option of waiting 15 minutes to play the front nine again, we called it a day and went home. With one exception, the greens were in very good shape.

I give this golf course 6.5/10. They take pretty good care of the greens but there are quite a few dirt patches on the fairways. I will clean and place my ball. If you hit a perfect drive and you end up on a patch of dirt, that's just not right. They're driving range is awesome, heading off mats is not great but for $18 you get access to top golf simulator for as long as you want. Great practice greens, and a fun place to play. Don't count on many flat lies, but it's enjoyable and surrounded by beautiful oak trees.

Chalk Mountain Golf Course is a great facility. This place is very well maintained. Has a driving range and practice putting greens. The golf course has a nice pro shop. The staff are all friendly. My personal favorite is the restaurant. Have a good menu from cold sandwiches to a BBQ hamburger. I recommend the breakfast burritos, yum
