Very nice design with European links style. Bunkers are very penal and strategically placed. Greens were very fast, but received shots well. A little overpriced for the condition of the course, and the really tax you if you don't live in Alameda. They really should honor a 10 mile radius. That would be nice.šŸ˜ The practice facility is really good, and the short game membership is tempting, but a little too pricey for me. Corica Park is fun, and has great family and community vibes.

I come here for the driving range but this Corica has two 18 hole courses (one almost complete with its multi-year renovation), and a par 3 - 9 hole that’s quite nice. It’s PUBLIC!!! It’s close to the Oakland airport and waterways so it just seems so wide open. It’s a local favorite.

Best public course ( North course) I have played on in California. Undulating fairways and pretty fast greens. Very well maintained, professional managing, and yes, even restrooms are cleaner than in a nice hotel! Kudos to the team!!

The south course is cool. I'm not sure if it's worth the non resident rates though. That the north course is $15 more (!) is a travesty because it's the story of two completely different 9 holes. The front nine has been around for a good 5 years, the back nine just opened in March of 2025. The front nine architect was Marc Logan. The back nine architect is Robert Trent Jones II. You couldn't ask for a more disjointed experience. Two architects over a 5 year span? One nine is respectable and normal. The back nine is the evil twin. The greens, the grass used, it's all different when you tee off on the back nine on the north course. I played Sunday as a senior (doesn't count on weekends), resident, and walking. The cost was $78! I've played the north seven times and have yet to truly enjoy it, each time walking off thinking "it wasn't worth it". I played ok, too. Shot 77 from the blues Sunday. I know that Baylands Golf in Palo Alto also has high prices but that's in the heart of silicon valley. All the techie techs from near by can afford to pay extra. Alameda is just a small town. In Palo Alto it makes sense. In Alameda, you get a similar experience plus you could still get jacked by Oakland thugs and/or have your car broken into. There's no real wealth here like in Palo Alto. Anyway, try the north yourself. Or have a nice fun time on the south course.

Gorgeous links style course with great views and amazing conditions. The greens were fast, large and challenging. Bunkers were positioned well and the course is a good test from the black and blue combo. The rough can be very difficult so keep it in short grass to have a good chance to score here. The longest par 3 can play about 250 yards so fair warning if you decide to play from the tips. šŸ˜šŸ‘ Overall value and customer service was excellent! I'll be back.
