Description

The Creeks winds around multiple streams that shape strategy on several holes. Fairways are moderately tight but fair, and greens are mid-sized and receptive. The course balances challenge with playability, scaling well for mixed groups. With its attached RV resort, it caters to traveling golfers. It's an enjoyable, well-kept track in northwest Arkansas.

We anticipated a resort on a golf course only to find a long term stay rv park. Disappointed because it has potential to be a resort on a golf course. Entering and exiting is a challenge due to blind spot in the roads and lack of signage. Many sites have permanent residents and is evident by multiple vehicles per site(some inoperable and parked on the grass), storage units, tarps, decks attached to units, small business signs posted in lawns, and small sites with no tables. One resident had his motor coach extending out in the drive making it a challenge for us to pull out of our spot. Rules are obviously not enforced and it is ruining what could be a destination resort as the name leads you to believe. If you are needing a place to stay for extended periods such as employment leads you here, then this is it. If your vacationing, I would consider other places.

I stayed at this RV park from March 30 to April 10, 2025 and it was not an enjoyable experience. I was in the process of relocating to NWA for work and needed to stay in our Airstream for a couple of months while my daughter finished school back home before her and my wife joined me here. I made a two month reservation and when I arrived late in the day on Sunday, March 30 found that my assigned spot was occupied. I went to the office and was told I had been reassigned to another spot. When I arrived at the new spot I found that it was next to a rundown unit that was surrounded by clutter and junk. I went back to the office and asked about it and he said he knew which unit it was and he agreed it was unsightly. I asked if I could be assigned a spot that bordered the golf course and he said they are more expensive and I agreed to pay the extra ~$200 a month. He said management didn’t prefer monthly tenants be at those spots, but it should be okay for just two months (note, there are several monthly tenants in those spots). While I was working that week I began getting text messages from the RV park manager that I needed to relocate because my unit did not meet their 30’ minimum for those spots. Exchanges with that assistant manager were professional on both ends, but she was very persistent as she said the owner was insisting I move. I began ignoring the texts as I found the ask to be unreasonable and excessively persistent. I would be gone in six weeks at this point, so the situation would resolve itself. They later held a package of mine in their office forcing me to interact with them. When I did the general manager angrily confronted me demanding to know why I wouldn’t move. He did so in an aggressive way which was concerning (yelling at me like a child). I left the office and called another RV park in Gentry, relocating that evening. The RV park manager said she would prorate my rent. When I called about the proration she said she changed me to a nightly rate since I only stayed 12 days and charged me nearly what I agreed to pay for a full month. I thought proration of my monthly rate was more appropriate considering the circumstances. Aside from the harassment and aggressive outbursts by management, the RV park is very congested with sites only several feet from each other (you get to listen to your neighbor flush), the bathrooms are not kept clean, the laundry machines run off tokens not coins (charging twice as much as is reasonable), and the propane refill rates are excessively expensive. The property has a lot of potential and they are making investments that are improving it significantly. I would suggest a renewed focus on customer service and experience to maximize the benefit of those investments. Good luck in the future.

Stayed 5 nights in a 5th wheel. FHU and cable, concrete pads were not level and the sites were a bit tight and no picnic table. We were opposite the pond that was very green with algae, didn't use the laundry but checked out the restrooms. The trash can between the restrooms was over flowing with garbage on the ground around it. The restrooms themselves were rather nasty - not clean and in need of an update. Road noise was loud as well as the permanent guests that leave around 6am every morning - including a dump truck that parked behind us. Overall, not somewhere I would camp at again.

We have been coming here for several years now and the decline from RV Resort to RV Park is very evident. The staff is still friendly as ever, but long term folks staying have not kept the RV sites up and all the storage equipment takes away from feeling what the location use to have. Some areas are looking a little like housing projects gone bad. Been here two times in 5 months, the down hill slide is is obviously happening. Just a few samples and not as bad as some others in the back area.

8-11-23 Update: About $61 a night after taxes and Good Sam discount - a good value for FHU paved sites with nice grassy areas btw sites. The golf course was open and looked great! 2 years ago: This was a very good place to stay. Ample space and nice grass btw sites, paved fairly wide roads. A very pretty setting off of a golf course (which was in very bad shape). If you stop by, be sure to go into historic DT Bentonville and check out Compton Gardens, WalMart Museum and Crystal Bridges!
