The Cabin course is the more dramatic of Torreon's two 18s, routing through dense pines with bold bunkering by von Hagge, Smelek & Baril. Shot values skew toward precision off the tee and trajectory control into perched greens. Elevation and cool air add distance, but crosswinds in the tall timber challenge distance control. The par-3s are varied and photogenic, and several par-5s invite calculated risk. Practice facilities are expansive, and conditioning is consistently tournament-caliber in summer.
