Best time Golfing in while! My friends and I had an 11a tee time. We drove up from the Valley and didn't expect such hospitality. The day of knew driving up that I would be risky with the cold and rainy weather. When we arrived we learned that the front nine was unplayable due to heavy water but that we could play back 9. In fact they said that we could play as many times as we wanted. They only charged us for a 9 hole. We were literally the only 4 players that day. They also offered brunch at the time so we ate and played until we got tired. On top of all that, they offered to bring drinks out to us. If you book a tee time, expect genuine and thoughtful service from the staff. It was those actions throughout the day that made it so much more enjoyable. It was cold and wet that day but possibly the best experience I have ever had playing golf!

An amazing shout out to the payson golf course for hosting my daughter’s 16th birthday. Such a great venue for events. Food is amazing. The venue is affordable and the staff was so great

What a fantastic golf course! The staff were so friendly, food was great and the golf course is super fun! Brad was especially accommodating at the pro shop!! Lots of opportunities for drivers and fairway woods on this course. We were treated like royalty, and so was our dog! We will be sure to come back! Thank you Payson Golf Club for a perfect 2-days on the links!!!

I play there it least once a week and it is always a good time. The staff are great and most greens and fairways are great as well. It is a four star because some of the greens have big spots in them that could really mess up your putts and chips. And the roughs on some of the holes is just straight up dirt. Overall good course.

I was kind of shocked , after paying $50 with cart , for a round of golf at Payson Golf Club . This was definitely the worst golf course I have ever played on . This course is a maximum $20 course at best . I played with my girlfriend , and we paired with another couple that was from Phoenix . We didn’t know the other couple , but they also commented how bad the golf course was . Being a part owner of a golf course , I have heard so many complaints from people who paid $55 to play my course . I wish those same people could play on this course lol . I brought my own golf cart , and was not allowed to use it . Had to pay $10 for 30 year old course carts . You can’t even see out the windshield , because they are so discolored and scratched . I am by no means a great golfer , 20 handicap , but for $50 , I would expect a lot more . Golf courses are not cheap to maintain , but this course has not updated anything in decades . I wish I could say something positive about this course , but there is nothing good to say . The bar tender and the young man that checked us in, were very friendly , but that’s all the positive I have for Payson Golf Club .
