Description

Cut through tall pines just south of Flagstaff, Pinewood is a mountain-meadow layout with cool air and receptive turf. Lawrence Hughes' original 1959 design was updated by Jack Snyder, adding interest around greens and improving playability from forward tees. The course eases you in but tightens quickly - accuracy off the tee is at a premium as fairways pinch near landing zones. Greens are smooth with gentle back-to-front pitch, and afternoon breezes make club selection tricky. It's an enjoyable, walkable test with full practice facilities and a friendly community feel.

The staff here is friendly, love the pool and live music. The naked wings with a side of hot sauce are bomb!!!

I played the course at 11 PM Last night it was a beautiful night. I had a blast walking the fairway is top notch and the putting green is extremely awesome. It didn't say if you're not a member you couldn't play at 11 PM at night. Looking forward to a foolish moon next time. 😅😅😅
