PRGC is a must play when in the Phoenix area. Having played The Duke just two days prior, this course just doubled down on the layout and overall condition. The tee box’s are plush and level- The fairways are just great with zero dry spots or trouble-(I’d say phenomenal and plush putting it bluntly) Chipping areas near the greens were immaculate- The waste areas were very clean and playable if you were off the fairway rough- Greens were just great, a little firm- Only problem was pin placement. For some reason someone thought everyone was Rory or Justin Rose with some of these flag locations. As even the local twosome stated it makes zero sense for the average golfer to have to putt at some of these locations. Overall it was only on about 5-6 holes to be fair to the course. However -save the Masters flag locations for members tournaments and qualifiers. Overall this course, clubhouse and pro shop is 5 star all the way around. The staff was super friendly and accommodating from the cart girl, the Marshall, the pro shop and restaurant. If you’ve never played here put it on your list. You will not be disappointed!⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Power Ranch is my home course. The course is in excellent condition with newly redesigned greens! On top of that, the staff always provide exceptional customer service. They make the whole experience amazing. Tyler, Ed, Cory, Tyler, Nate, and Brett greet everyone with a smile during check-in which is a great way to start the round. TJ, Theresa, Maddy, and crew are very attentive, friendly, and take good care of everyone at the restaurant. Kyle is on top of his game getting players started on time and providing detailed instructions on the first tee. Elizabeth, Theresa (she goes out on the course too), and Reygan are the best beverage cart ladies ever! When my buddies and I are not playing our best, they find a way to make our day better with their friendly conversation and getting our usual drinks ready. Then, we realize what could be better than being out on the course, playing golf, and drinking beer! After the round, Jeremy and crew greet the players back take care of the clubs and put away bags if needed. Yes, I am extremely proud to call Power Ranch my home course and it will stay that way! If you haven't played this course yet, don't miss out and book your tee time now! You will not be disappointed!

If you haven't golfed here, you are missing out! This course is great. Long fairways, great greens! I will be golfing here again 4sure! Power ranch, thank you for a great experience. And if you go to the bar after you're done with your 18 holes as for TJ, he's a great waiter that's full of smiles and great conversation.

After reading reviews of how bad the greens are I feel obligated to set the tone of my experience today. If you are seeking an easy flat green surface where you can sink puts from 20 feet then yes go elsewhere (where I don't know as all greens have features and slopes to them). However, as far as difficulty goes, these are by no means difficult or bowl like. I frequently was able to put a long distance and get within 3-4 for my second putt. Try playing the courses where I play and these greens if anything are moderate and not extreme. Today the greens were slow to very slow compared to what I've typically played. These greens will release off a chip shot and are not soft but they are typical firmness to slightly hard. You will not make nor see divots in the greens. I really enjoyed playing here and as a gauge for difficulty, I only lost about 2-3 balls where back home I can easily lose 5-10. So in that perspective this course is easy not to lose a ball and challenging enough to make it enjoyable. Any 10+ handicapper should agree that the course is fun, nicely layed out, manicured, maintained, par 5's play long, and enough water hazards and sand traps/hard scape to make it interesting. I rented golf clubs and enjoyed playing the Talyormade Qi10's. I have a set of Stealth at home. Power Ranch is a nice course and with a 1:24 tee time got the round done in just under 4 hours. Can't beat that.
