Description

In Chandler, Springfield is an 18 hole executive course built in 1996 by Gary Panks. It's a par 61, 4,231 yard layout designed for faster rounds. The routing emphasizes accuracy with water hazards and bunkers guarding several greens. It's walkable, playable, and tailored for seniors and casual players. Facilities include a driving range and putting greens.

“Great value overall! The course has beautiful scenic views, wide lush greenery, and deluxe carts with ice pockets and great utilities. However, the bathrooms were dirty and the restaurant area could use improvement.” Went here a second time — The restrooms on the course are fantastic and very nice, better than other courses! And both times I’ve been here the ranger has patrolled keeping things in order! I like it 😉

This course is immaculate and very fun to play. The clubhouse is booming with people enjoying drinks and food. There is a very nice driving range and a small but adequate putting green. Everyone working there is super nice and inviting. If it were closer to me, I would ask them for a part-time job! Although the course is par 61, there is plenty of challenge, and it is a great place to work on your irons game. A few of the holes are driver worthy, but for me, a 3 wood is plenty off the tee. Pace of play is a bit slow on the weekends as you'd expect, but on the weekdays, you should be able to finish in about 3-3.5 hours. I had my only hole in 1 there in 2022 (on #5), so it has become sort of a special place for me!

I love the course but the Marshal's are a little over zealous. If there isn't anybody pushing us from behind I don't want to hear I'm 10 minutes behind the pace of play just because the group ahead peeled off after 9 holes and there is no one in front of us.

Nice executive course! Course was in solid shape and rates are some of the best in the area. No par 5's here so you can get through 18 quick! Definitely a hidden gem in Chandler!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my terrible experience at this golf resort so others can avoid the same frustration. From the moment I arrived on Saturday 4/26, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. To start with, I showed up for my scheduled tee time—which, by the way, I had reserved in advance and had already been charged for. Not only did no one greet me or offer any kind of basic hospitality, but the staff immediately launched into telling me that they “don’t accept groups of one” and that I needed to have four people in order to play. No courtesy, no attempt to help, just flat-out refusal. It was rude, unprofessional, and frankly shocking. I tried to explain that our group had reserved a spot and already paid for it, but they didn’t care. They treated me like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. A short while later, my friend arrived—so now we were a group of two. At this point, we assumed we’d be able to play, especially since our group had a reservation and we were already out the money. But no—they still refused to let us play, again citing some absurd policy that they only allow groups of four. Who has ever heard of a course refusing twosomes? Not only is that ridiculous, but it’s also a completely inflexible and outdated policy that shows a lack of respect for paying customers. When we asked for a solution, we were met with dismissive attitudes and zero accountability. Not a single staff member offered an apology or tried to make things right. It’s outrageous to be charged for a tee time and then be turned away after showing up on time with a playing partner. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in any business, especially one that’s supposed to be part of the hospitality and leisure industry. If your policies are this strict and illogical, they should be made very clear upfront—and even then, there’s absolutely no excuse for the cold and dismissive way we were treated. Save your money and your time. There are plenty of golf courses and resorts out there that actually value their customers. This place clearly does not.
