Old Overton is a Tom Fazio/Jerry Pate collaboration that rides dramatic ridges and valleys with elevated tees, bold bunkering and clean sightlines. The course blends wide playing corridors with exacting green surrounds that place a premium on short-game versatility. Par is defended by length in spots and by angles almost everywhere, as preferred sides of the fairway unlock receptive green entries. The back nine climbs into breezier exposures with panoramic views before returning to a closing stretch that rewards nerve with reachable opportunities. It's a modern private club with a refined, tournament-ready presentation.

Private golf course in very good shape. Course superintendent does a great job at maintaining the course it appears.

Loved volunteering at the Samford Athletics Golf Tournament on Oct 13, 2025. The Club was an amazing host and such a beautiful, stunning facility. Highly recommend this pristine course. Very well maintained with a spectacular views.

We adore Old Overton. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly, helpful, happy and kind. We especially love the cabanas and expanded menu recently added to the pool.

I played in a charity golf tournament here in 2021 and again yesterday. The course was in great condition last year but this year was even better. This course is arguably one of the most beautiful I’ve played in a long time. The greens were flawless. Great job!

My Grandfather was a member here for over 20 years until he passed. He thoroughly enjoyed his time here golfing with his friends! Thank you for the memories with my grandfather at you beautiful club!
