Course is great except for the greens and the immense amount of nats (I don’t mind bugs I get it we’re outside but when over half the holes I get swarmed by them especially at the greens it makes it hard to putt) probably won’t go back until the greens are faster currently they are way too slow. One of the guys that i met there said he plays here once a month and of course over exaggeratedly says when he’s putting on his carpet the ball rolls faster than the greens. That was my complaint the last time I was here as well I say all this in good nature and hope the course gets the attention it needs and shout out to the new owners for putting in all the time and effort to improve what they have already improved such as the cart path, the carts, scenery, and the pro shop fantastic job

Course is in pretty good shape. The new owners seem to be doing a lot of improvements, cart GPS etc.

I know there’s new ownership and it takes time but raising the price on an already bad golf course and all they have done is “open up to see the cahaba” doesn’t make the course better to play on. The greens are still crap, driving range is terrible. Also, don’t have 5 people in a group on the weekend, hire a Marshall and do it right. Improve the course, not the views. Put a pool in, you’ll attract more people.

I hate leaving bad reviews but I can’t believe the horrible shape this course was in and they charge people money for this! The greens were in unplayable shape the picture I added was hole number 2. Every green had horrible deep ball marks, fairways were in bad shape as well. The tee box (whites) on hole 3 was basically just dirt and unplayable. Hope they can turn this place around!

The whole staff was very rude, and some of the staff was also clueless. The range balls were very overpriced and the range itself looks horrible. I broke my ankle on a pothole in the middle of the fairway, nobody keeps up with this course. The cart path is very bumpy and jacked up. Overall everything about this place was terrible. I prefer my local muni over this crap.
