Unlike the prettier sister sestled along the banks of the Tennessee River, this little gem is about 4 miles north of the river off of hwy 72. Just like Jan on the Brady bunch, this course will satisfy all your golf needs without the drama of better looks that come with more demanding requirements of shot placement to avoid water. Goose Pond Colony Plantation offers golfers a straightforward yet satisfying experience. The course’s layout is wide open, making it accessible to players of all skill levels while still providing enough challenge to keep the round engaging. Most greens are easily reachable in two or three strokes, rewarding well-placed tee shots without punishing minor mistakes. Water hazards come into play on only a handful of holes, allowing for a more relaxed style of play compared to tighter, hazard-heavy tracks. Course conditions are a highlight here. The greens are consistently in excellent shape, rolling smooth and true, while the fairways are equally well cared for, providing reliable lies throughout the round. The maintenance team deserves credit for keeping the course in such strong condition, particularly given the high level of play the course attracts. The only noticeable drawback lies in the fleet of carts, which show their age. While most function reliably, they lack the polish of newer models found at higher-end facilities. Still, this minor shortcoming is easy to overlook when considering the overall value. Nice, straightforward course. Mountains are a beautiful backdrop on every hole. Found it very playable and enjoying. I would say that it's an excellent value/ money well spent for the round!!

Reason for the 2 star review. This is the second time they’ve done this! We booked on golf now, which I pay for every year. We asked for the replay rate and was initially told $25/person. After the cashier looked at my previous charge with no one at the 1:50 tee time was told $55, this is total BS!! Just because I get a good rate on GN, doesn’t warrant being charged twice as much for a replay rate, thanks BUT no thanks. Course was in great shape, but not worth a $55 replay rate!!!

Nice country course with a pretty view and it is quite flat and easy to get around. You won't lose too many balls!
