So we played this golf course in February and it was after the big southern freeze - which most likely didn’t have any bearing on course conditions. Of the 9 golfers who made the trip the HDCP’s ranged from 7-16. We played Cypress Bend twice and Cotton Creek once. I am a 11 HDCP. The course layouts were challenging but not unreasonable. Hitting off dormant grass was also challenging. But the biggest challenge was pin placements. Now understand the greens were very undulating BUT there were level areas where a pin could be placed. I just don’t understand why a golf course would charge a $100 and place the pins on a slanted part of the green FOR AMATEURS. STUPID. SEVERAL OF OUR REALLY GOOD GOLFERS SCORED IN THE UPPER 80’s due to stupid pin placement. That is the reason for low score.

Fantastic golf course. I played the Cotton course as I was told it was more difficult. It was beautifully laid out and the course was in great condition. It was a bit pricey at $150, but I was happy with the course. If you don’t keep the ball in the fairway, it can be tough. We also saw a gator on one of the holes so that was also cool. I’d play again for sure.

Played here for an event with the Veteran Golfers Association. I traveled from Utah and it was a fantastic time on the golf course - playing both courses over two days. The staff here was absolutely impressive. Britany, Sadie, Erica, Toni, Hailey and Laikyn were an absolute treat! I encountered each one during my visit here and they made the experience top notch. The course is challenging, and in great condition. There are a lot of courses to play like that, but the staff is always what makes it a unique experience. Thank you having such exceptional people here taking care of us.

My wife and I had a great day of golf on Craft Farms Cypress Bend. Staff were friendly and helpful. Mark the starter, took several minutes to give us orientation, then let us tee off early before a group of 3 and another group of 4…as we were ready. Cypress Bend was GREAT!! Fairways were wide and in excellent condition. Greens were a challenge, but fair. We plan to go back and play the Cotton Creek course next week. ******* Back to play Cotton Creek today. Same friendly helpful staff. The club house and pro shop was clean and inviting. The starter warned us Cotton Creek was more difficult…just be aware and enjoy! The course was in great shape. Greens were amazing. While the fairways were narrow with lots of doglegs and water, we had a great time. We highly recommend Craft Farms! The best we’ve played during our stay in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach

Great course! Best greens in Alabama! Fantastic pro shop and staff!! Especially Martina! Will be back for sure!
